This is just exactly what you expect. Nothing fancy. I just needed a longer one to make an adjustment on the guitar and this one did the trick.

It doesn’t fit into the sound hole. I tried forcing a little then stop to not to hurt the guitar. To me it was useless. Been produced for something else probably.

I put this work right when it arrived on a Martin-style guitar with the truss rod inside the soundhole. It's so far in that you would need to use the short end of a normal Allen key for leverage, and on an old beater like this it's a lot of force. This totally solves the problem and should last many years. You can get a much finer feel as you turn because you are only exerting a little force at a time (I think it's easier to control 2 vs 4 lbs instead of 15 vs 17, for example). So it just feels safer and better. I had no idea they made equilateral allen keys like this. If you work on your acoustic guitar this will be handy. PS - always always always add a drop of light lubricant to the allen key every couple years or if it is giving any pushback at all!
