Easy To Remove Damper Pulley
Designed for removing damper pulleys in tight engine compartments without removing the radiator. This pulley is hard to access and remove dute to space limitations in and around the engine compartment.
Upgraded Version Jaws, fit Old and Newest Vehicle Model
Come with Two Different Jaws
By professionally tested and many user descript, we find 3 thicker jaw can't enter new model vehicle belt pulley, so we add 3 thiner jaws, the 3 thiner fit newest vehicle model.
Replaceable Jaws
Loosen nuts and studs, you change the jaws.
you can replace another 3 jaws to use, if you try the 3-jaw puller is not fit you car.
Tips
Please tighten the nut to prevent it from falling off before use.
How to Use
Step 1
After removing the drive belt from the pulley, use a ratchet wrench to remove the pulley center bolt.
Step 2
Select a top bar from the kit and insert that push bar into the center bolt hole of the three-jaw puller. Then lock the three jaws of the puller behind the pulley.
Note:The length of the push rod must be the same length as the puller jaws to engage the pulley.
Step 3
Position the puller/pusher assembly onto the pulley.
Ensure that the jaw puller is firmly engaged with the back of the pulley.
Step 4
Using a 3/8" center fly wrench or 19MM, the Slowly turn the center bolt to apply top bar pressure and the pulling horse slowly pulls the pulley out.
Step 5
Continue to turn the extractor center bolt until the end of the extractor disengages.

This broke on first use but got the job done so I call it a win. If needing it a lot might want to find a better quality but if need once or twice I think for the cost it is hard to beat.

This product works as advertised (sort of). It did remove the damper pulley, but not before 2 of the push rods bent. The shorter of the 2 bent was the correct length to start removal. The damper started moving with little pressure, but as I progressed the rod just started to bend and I was at the limit of the driver screw. Removed the rod, installed the longer rod and it promptly bent as well. I did finally get the damper off but not before I used a slug in the bolt hole and the shorter rod. Seems the rods are of a really soft material.

Fit into the tight space of a Mini Cooper crankshaft dampener and once started - the dampener slide off as easy as anyone would hope.

I purchased this to remove a pulley. The unit itself is decent and solid enough, however some of the parts are clearly low quality and have passed very poor quality control. In my case, the ball bearings which hold the pins in place were not particularly well fitted to the housing. Before use, I was treated to a half an hour searching the floor for a tiny spring and ball which I was able to locate and subsequently replace. I used the tool, which did what is was supposed to. When it came time to pack this sucker away, 'ping'... Off shot a ball bearing and spring. My search this time was a little less successful (as my this point I was on the drive (gravel) and to this day the little all and spring are yet to be found.This tool is an example of some cheaply chinese made affair which is best avoided.
