If you work on cars, you will need pullers. And to pull the harmonic balancer off of the front of the engine's crankshaft, you often need a specialty tool. This adjustable three jaw puller is nicely made and comes in a neat, blow-mold case. There are four different lengths of forcing rods included, as well as the main forcing screw which comes with a 3/8 square drive inside, that you can use with a ratchet, and a 3/4" hex on the outside for wrench or socket usage. The metal seems to be good and the quality of the threads was good. I have seen, used and broken pullers that did not have good threads! This Reywoo puller should serve well in my home garage.

It is made from heat-treated, high-hardness steel, which is coated to help prevent corrosion. The 3-jaw puller provides a secure grip on the balancer, reducing the risk of slipping and ensuring strong grip strength, making your job easier. Additionally, it comes with a helpful user manual. All the components are stored in a plastic case for organization. However, the case feels somewhat cheap, and I anticipate that the locks at the hinge point may break sooner rather than later. Upon arrival, I noticed that the pieces were loose and didn’t fit securely in their designated spaces, which gets old when you're transporting tools from one place to another.If you're in search of a harmonic balancer puller kit at a reasonable price, I can recommend the Reywoo with four stars.

I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality tools. This crank damper pulley remover for newer style cars, works with most domestic made cars (may work with other cars lines as well) that utilize this style of front crank pulley. Appears to be a heavy design, has the needed different length pins for removal of the crank pulley. Comes in a plastic case to keep it organized, the case does not use a pinned hinge as it should for long life, instead it uses a plastic folding flex hinge that will not last long. Comes with instructions, a puller set that every tool box needs to have. Price point is considered reasonable for this item.

Having a 3-jaw puller like this was a real no-brainer for me. The kit itself is pretty stout, with a good case, and very well constructed tools inside. I generally follow a guy who week after week uses one of these tearing down engines on Youtube to show us the ins and outs of them, while also reminding us to "do the maintenance." One of the more peculiar things that guy does is use old pushrods rather than the one included with the tool. I found myself naturally doing this as well ... I dunno if it's because I wanted the longer throw, or if I wanted to preserve the tool's rod for really stubborn jobs. Either way, it performs perfectly with either one. No complaints here, and a very affordable option to keep in your toolbox.

If you’re looking at these tools, you already know you have a big job to finish. Every balancer or pulley has a different challenge, depending on if the engine is in the vehicle or a stand, the chassis it may be installed in, and options such as a steering cooler may be an obstacle. While no single tool can complete this entire repair, this puller worked great.

This set of tools is really nicely made! The puller is like a eye candy. My old puller that use long screws to screw into the pulley no longer works with a lot of new engine nowadays. So this tool comes in very handy. Highly recommended.
