We replaced the heater that was in our tank because it just didn’t seem to be warming the tank well enough. I came across this heater which seemed reasonably priced, and read through reviews and felt confident in my purchase. When it came in, my husband “installed†it in the fish tank and mounted the temperature control unit on the wall. The design of it is nice, very user friendly. It’s now been controlling the heat for a week and has kept the tank steadily at 76 degrees fahrenheit. It is a reasonable size for our fish tank which is about 30 maybe 40 gallons (it was given to us so I’m unsure of capacity).

Easy to set up and install in my 75 gal tropical tank. Put some Velcro on the back of the control unit and it stays nicely hidden until I need to look. The display is bright and easy to read and very simple to setup/use. Directions are simple and thorough. It raised the tank temp 5 degrees in a matter of a couple hours. It maintains the time I set accurately.

Accurate is the right word to use. This heater is installed in a 75 gallon tank and keeps the temperature within 1 degree of set temperature continuously.East to install and setup.

So far this is working well. My old heater stopped working. Luckily, I had an old glass tube back-up to get me through.The set up was very easy. I just allowed the unit to warm up some while I unplugged the old one and allowed it to cool.The unit is black and completely blends in with my back wall. I put the heater near the filter intake to disburse the heat faster.You just plug it in and it calibrated in seconds. The preset temp is 82, which is too warm. I set it at 74 with a button on the side. Within two minutes the correct current tank temp of 72 was displayed. Four hours later I am at the 74 programmed.I used a mercury thermometer to verify all temps. I read that it is a good idea to be proactive and replace your heater every two years to prevent a tragedy. This is cheap enough to do that. I will buy a smaller model for my 29 gallon tank to have ready. I put the 200 watt on my 75 freshwater.

Very happy with this aquarium heater. I bought it for my 29 gallon community tank. I have waited a few months to make the review to see how it worked. I have another thermometer on the other side of the tank and the temperature has been very consistent on both that thermometer and the one that is built in to the unit. I paint the backs of all my tanks black to hide the cords for a cleaner look and I like that the plastic housing and cord blend in well. It does make a quiet "click" when it cycles from on to off that you might find annoying if you have it located near your bed perhaps, but my tanks are all in my den and I never notice it.

The product arrived on time and perfectly packed. I installed really quick and in less than 6hs my 400L tank went from 13degrees to 25 (set temperature).I live in Australia so I received the heater with the Australian plug and the indicator shows the temperature in Celsius.The heater is well constructed and the materials are strong. I recommend this product, is my second heater from this brand. 👌

Sehr gute und genaue Heizung. Ich habe in anderen Rezensionen gelesen das sich die Heizung nicht auf Grad umstellen lässt. Das stimmt nicht. Der Bedienknopf muß nur etwas länger gedrückt werden, dann springt die Anzeige um.

I have 4 of these heaters (two 200 watt, one 300 watt and a 500 watt) now and so far they work very well. I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the heat, because I use INKBIRD controllers to manage the temperature. But I can say they are a nice size, and seem extremely well built. The suction cups are the best I’ve seen on any heater or other pieces of aquarium equipment. They heat much faster than the previous heaters I was using. The cord length is perfect if you power outlet is a ways away from your aquarium. And the power cord is a heavy gauge wire, unlike a lot of heaters. I’ve only had them running for a couple of weeks, so I can’t say how long they last. But I will update my review if I have any issues or if one of them dies. I’ll likely be buying a couple more 300 watt heaters as well.
