Had to return this item due to the inaccurate sizing of the PVC coupler fittings. The manual states that the PVC pipe size shoult fit a 2" and or 2.5" pvc pipe. And 2" was too loose 2.5" was too big. So, I had to return the device.

I like that the pool pump pumps well. However, I was unable to so far program the pump. There needs to be better instructions on how to program pump. A video with careful instructions would be very helpful, but I could not find one. The manual just shows how to make the pump go faster and slower, but it’s very unclear about programing. I emailed Varmin two days ago, but I receive no follow up from the company.

The programmable timer on this pump makes it super easy to set up and use. I love being able to schedule the pump to run at different speeds throughout the day.

Got it for my 9800 gal under ground pool with my old heat pump, i set it run with higher RPM at day time to filter dirty stuff and low rpm at night to keep heat pump working and keep the pool warm.However on first unbox found white marks on the casing but service team told it is reinforced fibers, which is great for durability and good news for me since i am planning not replacing it for years.

Upgrade from an old 1.5hp vs pump to this one since the old one cant keep up with the new cartridge filter since new one is much bigger and drop the flow rate quite a lot. The rain shell was good for me since i set it out door with no cover.
