So far so good!These have some heft, but aren't too heavy. The beak/jaw is strong, and quite large. PERFECT for larger branches that smaller loppers can't grab onto. This set comes with extra blade, and a pair of pruners. I like the handles- they have a comfortable grip that allows me to exert the pressure needed to cut easily through stubborn branches.I acquired these to use alongside my smaller jaw loppers. I have several Hemlock trees that need a bunch of dead branches cut out. Many can be cut using the regular sized loppers, but there are still many that are too big for those. I considered getting out my mini chain saw, but I really preferred to just lop them off. These large jawed loppers were exactly what I needed!! I am still working on the trees, and I can say having these loppers have been a joy to use. I even used them in a landscaping/yard clean up job I had to go to. These large loppers work on smaller stuff, but I prefer my smaller jawed loppers for smaller branches, and for the most part I only really need regular sized smaller loppers. But when a bigger cut is needed, gotta use the larger loppers like these. Use the correct tool for the job!All looks good, no issues. If they fall apart I will be back to update

They are very heavy duty so they can cut thru large stalks! I thought they would be too heavy for this 71 year old woman but not bad at all. I did it. And I really like them. I think they will last me a long time.

I have used better loppers as far as cutting ability but the garden shears are worth what the cost for everything. i have owned several brands of shears. These are very sharp and stay that way. My wife used them and told me to go buy another pair because these are now hers. YES they are worth buying !!

Oh my goodness grab these while you still can! Grab them before the manufacturer realizes that they are the only ones left if the entire world who aren't on board with planned obsolescence!! Unless you misuse them by cutting diagonally I don't believe you could ever break them--but if you manage somehow to break the blade they have even included an extra one for you!! Surprisingly stiff at first, I had to lubricate the moving parts. This is not a lightweight cheap tool. This is what you would want if you own an orchard or have some serious work to do. I have used them all summer long clearing underbrush in the forest around my house and they have been just the ticket! The little hand clippers work great too and I can't believe they just threw those in for free!! One of the screws in the handle of the little clippers had been installed with so much force that a bit of the metal of the screw had been forced up into a sharp peak that could have cut my hand, but I noticed it immediately and just smoothed it out with a file. No biggie. All in all these are great tools and a fantastic value. Highly recommended!

Great and sturdy gardening tool for pruning trees and bushes .Anvil loppers use it for trees and shears for bushes .Had to buy these to prevent paying landscape people to trim trees that had grown on public sidewalk .City in CA requires tree pruning for trees that grow in your yard onto public sidewalks. Best thing about these tools is the price point , sturdiness and ease of use . You may need a ladder or stool to reach at branches in the tree but nothing else -- maybe some gloves . I throw the tree trimmings and my city garbage collection picks it up .

Bought this mainly for trimming larger branches the free small hand trimmers are more toy-like. The main trimmers work well up to 40mm once you get to the limit of 50mm too much of an effort. It will cut but too hard on the tool. Otherwise good for the money
