This cushion is amazing. It gives great support to your tailbone and is firm enough to do the job without feeling like you’re sitting on a rock. At first, I noticed it, but after using it a few times, it just became part of my routine and now I can’t imagine not having it. As a student who spends way too much time sitting behind a computer, this has made a huge difference. It’s honestly been a lifesaver for my comfort during long study sessions.

Revised review:After I returned the product, the vendor took the initiative to send me a letter of apology along with a replacement cushion. Apparently the cushion I originally received WAS defective, because it seemed nothing at all like the second cushion. While the problem that originally triggered the order has since resolved, I cannot say how well the new cushion would have worked when my pain was at its peak, but I can say that it likely would have been a welcome improvement.It speaks very well of the vendor's customer focus and integrity that he took the trouble to make things right for a small customer who is statistically insignificant. I would order from this company again (although, for obvious reasons, I certainly hope not to have to!).MY ORIGINAL (ONE STAR) REVIEW IS BELOW:Those who said that this cushion was too firm and that you "sat on top of it" rather than "settling into it" are quite correct. I weight 270 pounds, and it was still so firm that I was perched atop the cushion. Worse yet, the perch atop the cushion was, as you might imagine, not completely steady or stable. As a result, my back muscles were having to do extra work to stabilize me as I sat.Trust me, when you have the sort of problem that this cushion is designed to help with, the VERY LAST thing you want or need is to throw your back out.Needless to say, it's on its way back. One of the very few products I've ever returned.

Anyone dealing with IC has the papers from the doctor telling you what you can't eat/drink (anything fun) and how much liquid to drink and how often to go to the bathroom, etc etc. But there's the "limit sitting" rule that can pretty much suck when your job requires you to sit a lot, your commute requires you to sit a lot, you'd like to enjoy going to the movies or out to eat at a restaurant. These things are a lifesaver. Or a bladder saver. Or your perineum. Whatever - my point is that it takes the pressure off of that area when you have to sit. We just slip them into a pillow case so it's not really noticeably screaming "HI I'M A HEMORRHOID PILLOW!!!" and take them wherever sitting is required. Nobody has ever done a double take or cared. The pillowcase does double duty of making them easy to keep clean. If you're eating a meal while sitting on it, you know food is going to find its way to fall down onto it unless you have it covered with a pillowcase. Not to mention it's smooshed up against your butt for hours at a time. I don't care how clean your butt is, it's still a butt and it's nice to be able to slip a pillowcase off every once in a while and throw it in the laundry.This particular pillow is worth the extra price for it's softness and quality.

Ordered this for a family member due to post injury. They are able to sit for longer periods of time with less pain and discomfort in the lower region. The cushion fabric is nice, soft, washable, and the matter of the cushion also provides good support.

I've used this for six weeks now. It's comfortable overall, but my back hurts a little by the end of an hour or so. I bought this from Amazon in January for $65. It is now $97. Why?

**DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT1. The surface of this cushion was a bit worn out even though this is supposed to be a new item.2. The form inside the cushion is pretty hard so it's not very comfortable.3. The size of cushion is pretty small compared to other cushions I have owned.4. Only 75% of the price will be refunded since the seller requires me to pay for 25% restocking fee to return this item.I hope this review is helpful.
