Simple and quick way to change out LS valve springs on an assembled engine with piston at TDC and air pressure added to cylinder.(After adding air pressure to cylinder use a socket and hammer on the retainer to unseat the keepers before trying to compress spring)

DO NOT BUY!! You have been warned! After 4 valve spring changes it was so bent and worn I couldnt even finish one side! Buy the good tool! This has potential if it was steel and not soft aluminum!

I’d probably buy a different style of spring compressor, it doesn’t press the spring down straight and can be difficult to get the keepers installed.

I've used this for a few sets of heads now. It works perfectly, even with very heavy springs.

Simple and easy to use if you're not in a rush. Having used this one, I would probably get the type that compresses both springs at once but I don't plan one using it again anytime soon so the price prevailed on this one.

Broke the first 5 minutes of using it. Poor quality. Don't waste your money.
