I had to replace my cargo trailer handle due to breaking my key a couple of years ago. It was cheaper to buy a handle than have a key made! I bought an inexpensive one and then the dead bolt stopped working, the lever just flopped back and forth. I took it out and then apart. The interior has a plate that holds the moving parts in place and it had broken off from the diecast pot metal housing. It was held on by small diecast nipples and apparently the vibration caused then to snap off.I still had the original so I took it apart to salvage the broken one. The plate on the inside was screwed to the housing so I had to order another.This one is like the original, the plate is screwed in place and there is no way for them to back out when the handle is in place as the inside and outside hold the interior plate in place.I'm highly pleased that I found a quality product.

Better and cheaper than the locks that are sold at Camper Stores. My only complaint would be that it's a little difficult for the key to turn the lock, but the quality is better and the fit was also better to replace our old lock.

I was impressed as soon as I opened the box, this door lock is great quality, not cheap plastic. The dimensions were as advertised. The instructions were clear and concise, no surprises or questions during the process.An added bonus is the 4 keys that come with the lock, as I will undoubtedly misplace one in due time.I installed it myself, no extra hands were required.

The door lock fit perfectly in the space the old lock was. It is so much easier to operate than my last one and seems to be built much better. Hopefully time will tell as my last lock only lasted just over a year. Yes it was a different brand of lock than this one

The handle and lock functions fine but the screws that came with to install lock are not great. I will upgrade the next time I am at the hardware store as the heads strip with only a small amount of torque.

Fit like a glove. My old one locking felt like it was going to break my key. My new one I have to double check…it locks so smoothly . The keys are thicker and you get 4. Very happy with the quality and zero friction while locking. Worth every penny.
