Make a Lamp or Repair Kit Installation Instructions
Collect the lamp base you like (a favored bottle, your handmade wood base ect.). Prepare a light bulb, a lamp harp and lamp shade ready for use. Find a plier and a "+" shape screwdriver as the assembling tool. Adding the Emnooti lamp wiring kit, the preparation work is complete.

My lamps were vintage , so my son replaced my old kits with these new ones. He said they were easy to install and fit well. We chose the push on & off as I don't use dimmable bulbs. I feel so much safer with these. They were reasonably priced and the color matched my lamps perfectly.

So really, this is a pretty good lamp repair kit. They give you pretty much everything you should need to rewire your typical lamp and the parts are all decent quality. I dinged it a star for only one reason. The cord is 18AWG which is pretty typical lamp cord, but it's really pretty thick. It's rather tight slipping through the treaded pipe nipple and since the lamp I was rewiring is fairly old it was also a very tight fit through the existing lamp base grommet. Maybe not an issue for most but something to be aware of. I'd have appreciated a more flexible, slightly smaller diameter cord.

This works great. Would be easy for beginners. I am NOT a beginner. I am a Professional service man. I needed this kit for a lamp I own. It was cheaper to but this kit than to buy everything separately. Wire connection simple.

It works OK, but a few important caveats. Be very careful that you insulate the power cord lugs, as they will easily touch the metal housing or each other, causing shock or fire risk. They should have used insulated lugs. Otherwise, it's decent quality for the price.

This kit enabled a quick repair of a vintage Oriental table lamp whose original wiring had badly deteriorated. The metal connectors allow easy connections to the lamp socket.I recommend using an ohmmeter to identify the wire to the wider blade of the plug, so it can be screwed to the silver neutral connector.
