This is a heavy duty adaptor and fit my Henry T40 lathe to a Nova chuck. However, there is no means to lock the adaptor if you want to run the lathe in reverse.

Th part was a little rough where it was parted off. Nothing I little file work couldn't fix. The threaded areas are smooth and worked easily.

This adapter fit my old shopsmith perfectly and enabled me to use my fancy lathe chuck system. Did not disappoint.

I bought this for a lathe I just bought (used) and had a horrible wobble in it. I replaced the bearings, the belt, checked the Chuck and nothing changed it. I finally bought a new adapter and that was the issue. Spent $100 and 10 hours troubleshooting only to find out this part was so sloppily machined that it was causing all my issues.
