Each scribing depth size features a dual edged point to create clean, readable and accurate score lines parallel to the edge of the metal sheet. This scribe is incredibly useful for fabricating ductwork as it marks set dimensions on the the metal. I have also used it to mark wood and steel bar for other projects. It's a small handy addition to my toolbag

I wish i had one of these for the past 30+ years. Came across this product whilst browsing for something else. With over 30 years in the engraving industry i could have saved many hours producing better more accurate shearing cuts of brass sheet stock if I had this tool sooner. Oh well I have it now and am enjoying its practical and very easy usage. To those who said the edges are rough and lettering is hard to read must need glasses or gloves to wear because the product I received is nothing like that. Man up fellas!!

Love this thing. I’m constantly using it to make 1†and half inch marks on sheet metal to bend and this saves me so much time and very accurate.
