This is perfect for opening the lids on my vacuum sealed food and my pressure canned foods. There is no bending of the lids and that was my goal but as a bonus this makes it easy to open even the most stuck on lids with no problem at all. Thank you.

I'm SO excited that I found this simple little gadget that opens up your canning jars without damaging the lids! It is the best thing ever (especially since I was using a butter knife to pry it up, lol).There is a small lip that sits just under the seal of your lid and the "Y" part goes on top of the lid, then you gently pull up until the seal is broken. No more bent lids or jabs to the hand with the knife and you can simply wash and toss those lids back in the mix to reuse for your next batch of canning goodies 😉 😀! - Provided the lids and seals are save and have no damage.If you're an avid canner than this is a must or a lovely gift for someone who loves to can! Trust me, I didn't know what I was missing until I got it.

This tool works great to open jars without damaging the lids. It was a good value, is strong and easy to use. I use it on my canning jars and it makes opening them so easy and without damage to the rim of the lids. I love it and will be ordering another for myself as well as others to give to my family and friends that can.

This opener is just a basic piece of metal, no rubber handle or anything - but it works. I use it for prying lids of canning jars, it does a great job opening without denting or warping them.

This is exactly what I needed! I’m glad it works so well, because I really didn’t think it would be worth the money to buy a tool simply for opening jars, but I was so wrong. I do a lot of canning, and opening the sealed mason jars is difficult at best. This makes it easy, quick, and infinitely more pleasant to use my canned goods. It works on conventional jars from the store as well, just with a slightly different placement!

Works well, doesnt damage flat lids and makes them so easy to open. Shipped with AusPost so was fast and tracked well. Would buy again and would recommend
