Installation is firm
The adapter has a standard 1/4"-20 screw hole, two M2.5 screw holes, and a non-slip silicone pad at the bottom for added stability when mounting the adapter onto the device. One end of the inner groove is arc-shaped to prevent the cold shoe accessories from sliding forward accidentally. Ensure that accessories are properly and securely installed. Install your accessories in the direction indicated by the arrow on the adapter.

This fits my BMPCC camera well. Does the job to allow for cold shoe mics to mount. I appreciate that in includes the tool as well.

While the part is well made and nicely finished, I have yet to find an application for the 2 x 2.5M holes and screws. And, the recesses for the 1/4-inch and 2.5M screws will trap your speed-light center pin and make it nearly impossible to remove the light from the mount. It is a problem that would be solved if the screw recesses had chamfered edges where the recess meets the inner mount surface; where the bottom of the speed-light hot shoe meets the mount. The gap between the 1/4-inch screw and mounting hole is just big enough to trap a speed-light hot shoe center pin. The 2.5M screw fills its recess, but again, I have found no use for this fixation.

Work well but the large screw they sent that fits my rig prevents anything from going into the mount. Fortunately I bought other attachments and one of those screes fits it perfectly..
