I bought this to avoid having to adjust the tripod legs for the Seestar S50, and it works like a charm by removing the tedium and speeding up the process for a well leveled astrophotography camera. One of the worst things you can do is spend time leveling, bump into it, and have to start all over. With this, it's just a few quick wheel turns to adjust and you're done!

This is my third one so I have something to compare to. I originally bought one of the other "named" units for my Seestar. It was good and is working well so I wanted another one to use with the SS tripod since my first one was on a Bogen tripod. I ordered the cheapo $19 one (it's $23 now) and sent it back. The knobs were very stiff, even after running them through their range numerous times. I could have lived that but the screw to hold the unit was 1 mm shorter than my other one. Doesn't sound like much but I could barely turn the SS two turns while it went three turns onto the other unit, so back it went. This NEEWER unit is very well made, smooth knobs and a longer screw. VERY IMPRESSED with the workmanship. You DO get what you pay for. BUY THIS ONE!

The ZWO Seestar S50 requires precise leveling, particularly for lunar and solar. This little device does the trick and it's much easier than having to fiddle with the tripod legs while watching your Seestar app while leveling. This leveler is solid, well made and just plain easy to use.I deducted one star because after I received mine I found the identical item under a different name on AliExpress for half the price including shipping.

I bought this for leveling my small ZWO Seestar telescope on the tripod. I no longer have to fiddle with trying to adjust the tripod legs. My telescope has a built in level so I use that function and not the tiny bubble levels on the NEEWER device. Personally, the bubble levels on this leveler are so tiny they are at best only rough indicators and overall are pretty much worthless. My big problem now is that after using this several times with my telescope, I now want to add this to my regular photography gear. I don't want to keep swapping it between my telescope and camera so now I need to buy another.

When preparing for the Solar Eclipse, I found that the better the alignment, the better the tracking. The Seestar's tripod is great for night time tracking, but no so much for solar.This Leveling Base is excellent. It is simple to use and works great. It appears to be identical to the more expensive ones my friends have purchased through HighPoint. It even screws down thin enough to fit in the Seestar S50's case in the accessory area.

The Zwo Seestar S50 needs it's base to be as level as possible in order to track objects reliably. This device, placed between the scope and the tripod head makes the leveling process a simple task. Well built from quality materials and reasonably priced, this is the perfect addition!

Purchased this to assist in quickly leveling the SeeStar S50 telescope. It can be used on the SeeStar tripod, or on another tripod of your choice, as long as it has the 3/8" screw stud. Simple to use, although I did see where someone unscrewed one of the legs a bit too far and the screw fell out. Haven't had that issue yet. It has a bubble on the top, as well as two on the sides. Unfortunately, the one on the top is covered by the SeeStar when it's mounted. But it's a good way to see if your tripod is close to level before mounting the SeeStar.

I'm using this on top of the ZWO Seestar S50 telescope tripod. That tripod is difficult to get a precise level - add this on top and no problem, super easy. Once you know how to line it up correctly it will take 15 seconds or less to level each time. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone. Construction is heavy-duty, and there is no chance it will break.

Um das ZWO Seestar S50 Teleskop unterwegs einfach in Wage zu bringen, hilft der NEEWER Stativkopf Nivelliersockel. Mit Hilfe des dem Teleskop beigefügtem Stativ ist die Nivilerung nicht so einfach hinzubekommen. Auf einem stabilen Fotostativ mit der 3/8"Montageschraube befestigt, ist das sehr viel einfach mit dem NEEWER . Er besitzt an 3 Ecken Stellschrauben, womit das Teleskop rasch in die Wage niviliert werden kann. Der Stativkopf ist aus Alu, wertig und wurde in einen Kappkarton geliefert.Der NEEWER Nivelliersockel ist schnell verstaut für nächtliche Aufnahmen und vor Ort schnell montiert. Ich bin mit dem Teil sehr zufrieden.

I got this for mounting a Benro Polaris Astro tracking mount, which needs to be very level in order to track the stars accurately over a long period of time. This levelling base allows for very precise tuning. So it's slower to set up than a bowl-based levelling head, but more accurate. With astrophotography, putting the time into a proper setup is what makes the difference between a spectacular shot and a whole night wasted, and this base certainly helps.Once set up, the base is solid and sturdy, even with the weight of the tracking mount, camera and lens on it. Use it with a good tripod, take your time, and it will serve you well.
