I had been noticing less and less espresso coming from my Delonghi Espresso machine, then I found out half of the brewed espresso ends up going into the bin where the used capsules end up going. So after doing some research, I came across this product and decided to give it a try. WOW! It cleaned up the build up and then I noticed I am getting all the coffee poured into my cup vs half of it pouring to the bin! I also reached out to their customer service as I had some questions and they were very helpful. they provided me step by step instruction along with pictures, I definitely recommend this product.

My almost decade old Nespresso Delonghi Lattissima stopped brewing capsules well and the machine was descaled every few months. Finally I learned about these Caffenu pods and decided to try a box of 5 pods. Used them until the water ran clear (total of 4). I repeated the instructions for each pod, and then ran two extra blank Lungo pulls at the end in hope to wash away any residual solution. When brewing an espresso shot afterwards, the machine didn't sound like it stalled or squeaked as much as before. This seems to work well so I'd recommend to include this during times the machine is descaled.Monthly use seems a bit much since only 5 capsules are provided, yet it looks like 8-9 capsules can easily fit into the small box if they are staggered like Nespresso pods are in their boxes. Hoping more capsules are included for the price.

I have a TDS meter (total dissolved solids). It's not perfect. but it shows if there is stuff in your water. If you run a blank pull (just water) through your espresso machine, it will show if the water is dirty, assuming you start with distilled water. I used the TDS to test the system. The CaffeNu system is easy. Make sure you have water in the reservoir. I used distilled water. Put in the capsule, position a cup to catch the cleaner fluid, and hit the regular espresso button. Wait two minutes (I left the room in case of irritants). After two minutes, run the "lungo" button for the large cycle with the capsule still in place. Then take out the capsule (it's hot), close the lid with no capsule inside and run two blank pulls (the longest or lungo setting).Measurements with the TDS give a reading of 60 at this point (distilled water is zero, my tap water is ~150).So, in fact, there really is still some stuff in the machine. I ran four more blank pulls and after four my reading gradually went down to 5, down from 60.So the system works, but you *really* need to rinse out your machine to get rid of the residue!Minor annoyance: it doesn't say what the cleaning agent is. I hate that. It's going in your coffee.

Worked wonders for my machine. I descaled my nespresso machine regularly, but my coffee was starting to come out bitter. After doing some research, realized I also needed to be cleaning it to get all of the oils off, not just descaling it. After descaling my machine, I used 2-3 of these pods in a row to get out a few years of oil build up, and SO much gunk came out. Changed the taste completely, not longer get bitter coffee. I now use a cleaning pod every time I descale, occasionally more often than that. If you have never cleaned your machine, you may need to use several of these pods the first time, but long term, maintenance is simple.

Item arrived on time. Easy to use only took a couple of minutes to set up. You insert the pod like a regular coffee pod and place a cup to catch the excess and it keeps it clean for about a month. You should also use the nesspresso de scaler. Just to make sure your machine is running efficiently. Grabbed a box during the prime day sale. Would recommend it.

I’m on top of descaling but didn’t know I needed to also clean the coffee/brewing/pod chamber. So when my coffee started tasting a little funny, I researched and came across a recommendation for these cleaning pods. Took a before picture (gross!), followed the instructions, and saw what a difference it made. I would recommend doing an extra couple rinses after (just run a couple Lungo cycles with no capsule) as the first cup still tasted a tad off, but the rest have been better.

These Nespresso Machine Cleaning Capsules are a game-changer! Not only are they more affordable than the Nespresso liquid cleaner, but they also outperform it.Using these capsules is a breeze – just dissolve a tablet, follow the Nespresso descaling instructions , and watch your Nespresso machine shine. They tackle coffee residue, oils, and scale effortlessly, leaving your machine in pristine condition. What sets them apart is their effectiveness. I've noticed a cleaner machine and more flavourful brews after each use. Plus, they're compatible with all Nespresso machines. And the best part? They're significantly cheaper than the Nespresso brand descaler. Save money without sacrificing quality. If you want a top-notch, budget-friendly solution for your Nespresso machine, these cleaning capsules are a must-try. Highly recommended!
