Not as stressed as I wanted but the rug looks great. It fits under the legs of my desk, my chair rollers never get stuck. My chair doesn't roll away when I stand up. The backing is sticky, perfect for laminate wood floors. I would recommend this as the best option for the price.

I bought this chair mat for my home office, and it is every bit as good as I hoped it would be. I was rolling around on a bare wood floor, and every time I gently pushed back from my desk, it felt like my chair was gong to shoot all the way across the room! I needed something that would add a little bit of friction (and protect my floors) without being too thick and going to the opposite extreme of making it too *difficult* to roll my chair around.This chair mat fit the bill. I'm not kidding when I say this is how I think all chair mats should be constructed. It's got a nice, rug-like appearance, but it's thin (feels similar to heavy canvas in thickness), with a non-slip back. Plus, the pretty but sophisticated pattern looks just like the picture.The best part is that it does add just that little bit of extra resistance to keep my chair from slinging me into the back wall of my office, while still letting me roll smoothly and easily around. The construction looks top-notch; I've had it for a couple of months now, rolling all over it every single day, and it still looks like new. I do not have a single bad thing to say - love everything about it!

Works great on hard floors or over plastic chair mat. I had an old plastic chair mat that was starting to crack so I placed carpet over that and it works great. Looks great and adds some color to the room.

This has honestly been one of my favorite decorative pieces that also serves a very useful purpose.Not only does it look great, and feel soft, but it does not move whatsoever once placed down!It does curl up at the edges, and when my chair rollers happen to go back and forth on a side, the mat remains firmly seated on the floor.For me, I will always pick up one of these mats whenever I need to protect my hardwood flooring from a chair!

Awful product should have gotten the clear plastic ones they offer here on Amazon instead. The rug curls up on edges and attracts dust

Very happy with chair mat. Keeps chair from rolling out from under me. It has a thin layer of rubber lining so mat stays in place. It is light enough for me to lift the mat to relocate to a different area of the room as needed.

I bought this in the larger size (48" x 60") which was a better size for me. The smaller size wouldn't have sufficed. I think it's great. It protects my hardwood floor and looks good. It gives a more finished look to my office. I vastly prefer it to the clear pvc floor protector I had previously. As far as I'm concerned, this is a great buy.

I’ve been working at home since the pandemic began. As a result, my office/den has been used more than ever before. The large area rug that I had has sustained considerable damage from my office chair rolling back and forth over it and will, unfortunately, be relegated to use in my basement to avoid further damage. I needed something to replace the rug because I don’t want to damage my hardwood floors. This 3’ x 5’ carpet is perfect.The carpet arrives all folded up but if you lay it flat, the creases soon flatten out.The top of the carpet is relatively soft and the underside is tacky enough that it holds the carpet in place with my chair rolling over all the time. I don’t worry about the carpet slipping or moving. The edges are well sewn and finished and I am not worried about them unravelling.If something is spilled on the carpet, it can be wiped up easily or the carpet is machine washable as well. The listing says that the rug is made from biodegradable material and that it will break down/degrade in a natural environment but will not pollute and does not contain toxic materials. I am not familiar with this type of material but hope that the biodegradability does not affect the longevity of the carpet or that washing it hasten the biodegrading. Time will tell, I guess.So far, the carpet has performed well and met my expectations. My only negative comment but not one that affects performance is that the bright blue colour and pattern don’t go well with the décor in my office/den. Having a more subdued neutral colour would have been my preference. Other than that small complaint, the carpet at $39.99 (April 2024) is good value for the cost.
