After having thumb surgery I found these little sticky disks a life saver. I could open and close jars, bottles, canisters, and coffee cups one-handed. I could also stir and mix in a bowl one-handed when placed on the disk. They are easy to wash as well. Highly recommend.

Broke my wrist and life changed pretty drastically. These things are crucial to everyday life.•opening/closing jars•securing cups while pouring•securing mail/packages for openingWell, I guess those are pretty much its primary functions…but you would be surprised how much more difficult those tasks are with one hand.I was thinking about the jar opener that mounts under the cabinets, but those are pretty hard to install with one hand.

I honestly didn’t have much hope for this, but figured for the price, I’d try them. And they really do work. I am a stroke survivor with only one corking hand, and I’ve opened many jars by myself since these arrived. Would be five stars, but loses one because they’d be better if they were a little bigger and a little easier to clean. Because of how sticky they are, they also pick up crumbs from the counter, which are not as easy to rinse off as advertised. Still, completely worth it if you have a need.
