This is a can crusher- contrary to what many may be led to believe, it is actually used to crush aluminium cans. It does a very good job of crushing cans, which is fairly expected on account of this being a device designed to crush cansIn all seriousness, though- it is easy to install, works perfectly fine, and is even kinda fun to use sometimes. It will absolutely pull out of your wall if it isn't screwed into a stud or proper backboard, so keep that in mind when installing

It was easy to install. I chose a spot that was all wood, no drywall. It's snug up against the wall and doesn't budge at all. I will say the rubber pad at the bottom is not very high quality and in fact was damaged after the very first crushing of a can and has continued to degrade over time. I also wish it could crush the larger tall cans but overall it's pretty decent at what it is supposed to do

I installed to wall properly with everything including anchors in a 1960s wall. After two great crushes, the third try tore out of the wall and ripped left holes in the wall. Granted that was partially my fault for putting in wrong area but it's still solid wall and propelly installed as stated as directed next to other items. So find a full stud and mount on that only.*Update: Since finding a well placed stud and using crusher longer without human error it's been beyond expectations. I think I could raise it an inch or two and get them flatter cut third if the size is not a bad result at all.

I received this product on 5/18/2023. My husband was so excited and put it up that night. We’ve had it for one day and we’re already more than happy with our purchase. We have a fairly small recycling can. The kind that is trash on one side and recycling on the other. Our cans use to fill the can up so FAST. Now we don’t have to take the recycling out nearly as much. We were taking it out almost every day. This will most likely allow us to take it out every 3-4 days now! It is strong and works perfectly. It sits right above our trash can. It hasn’t failed us. Super satisfying too! The bottle opener was an unexpected plus for my husband. Now he can throw his lids away right away instead of leaving them on the counter.

I purchased this as a gift for a woman who is not real strong but likes to recycle. She absolutely loves this and it's easy to use; it saves lots of space in her recycling bin!

After a week of use I had to hit the bottom with a hammer to bring it back to level as it moved down. The cans would fly out as I tried to crush them. I think I’m going to end up adding more support to the bottom.
