First off, ignore the TINY paper directions that are included with this scratcher. They’re very hard to see, so I recommend watching the video on this listing to make it easier. Secondly, it helps if you have a second person to hold the pieces in place so the other one can screw it together. Doing it alone might result in the pieces not lining up properly.The two wooden pieces that “puzzle†together are a little weak once the entire thing is put together. It can turned in several different directions to keep the cats interested. We have 4 cats and so far, 3 of them showed interest in it. They all prefer vertical scratchers so I’m hoping they’ll like this one.

Cardboard is messed up, won’t fit together well, at all actually, ball was broken, and quite frankly it’s so cheap and flimsy I think my cat would fall from it, collapse it or get hurt. DO. NOT BUY, I’m very disappointed. It looks cool, that about it, if you can get it together in the first place. The cardboard must fit, and the ends are gnarled up.

This is an excellent cat scratching board! My three cats absolutely love it—they use it to scratch, nap, and play. The shape is just perfect for them, and the quality is outstanding. I highly recommend it!
