M1 TC mode -- Temperature control mode
Set start temperature and stop temperature, this thermostat plug outlet will work in heating or cooling mode as programmed.
For example, set start temperature=20℃, stop temeprature=25℃, the heater will start heating when temperature < 20℃ and stop heating when temperature ≥ 25℃, when the temperature drops below 20℃, the heater will start to work again.
M2 TC+Timer--Temperature + timer mode
In this mode, you can set two different temperature settings with two time periods set during 24 hours. Time 1 ~Time 2 ~ Time 1 is a cycle, 24 hours.
For example, set Time 1=8:00, Start Temperature TC 1=25℃, Stop Temperature TC 1=28℃; Time 2=18:00, Start Temperature TC 2 =28℃, Stop Temperature TC 2 =32℃.
From 8:00 to 18:00, the heater will start heating when temperature<25℃ and stop heating when temperature≥ 28℃, when temperature drops below 25℃ again, the heater will start to work again;
From 18:00 to 8:00 the next morning, the heater will start heating when temperature <28℃ and stop heating when temperature≥ 32℃, when temperature drops below 28℃ again, the heater will start to work again.
M3 Timer mode--Day and night timer
With ON/OFF time setting per day, you can program your devices to turn on/off regularly.
For example, set Time 1 ON=8:00, Time 2 OFF=18:00, the device will be turned on from 8:00 to 18:00 and turned off from 18:00 to 8:00, then repeat every 24 hours.

We have a couple of small heaters we use during the winter, we originally used timers but with the changing temperatures they aren't always reliable. We bought this so they could automatically turn on and off depending on the temperature and so far it's been great. The thermostat itself is a bit confusing but the manual does a great job in explaining how to set it up and we had it fully functioning within 5 minutes. You might need to calibrate the temperature before because we noticed it doesn't always pick up the same as other thermostats, but the instructions are clear about how to do it, just make sure to set it once the correct temperature is reached, otherwise it will keep trying to adjust and the temperature might be a little off.

This thermostat is super accurate when it comes to hold a temp of your choice. I am using it to control a heater where its thermostat is just terrible. I plugged it into my heater and set it and it keeps it right where I want. A great product. The only reason for not 5 stars is it cannot be set for Fahrenheit which makes it somewhat unhandy but useable. I'm lazy, so it should be on it.

This is my second one bought recently. The first one has been working as promised about one year. Now I have two of them working for me.One operates a small space heater in bedroom. The other is operating a small heater in my homemade fermenter/brewer. I'm very pleased with these gadgets, and I would hate to be without them. Thanks to Ketotek. BRAVOP.S. these are easy to use, easy to setup. Highly recommend for suitable applications.Also, the devices function with precision and accuracy. Plenty good for lots of user needs.

Uses decimals to the tenths of degrees in the Start Temperature/Stop Temperature (M1 TC mode). The thermostat can be calibrated easily to a known value.A timer can be used with Temperature settings (M3 mode).Backlight remains on if you want it (why wouldn't you.I use it with a 1500W ceramic space heater which has a crummy thermostat so I just set it on maximum and allow the thermost outlet controller to turn it on and off.

As other buyers commented: the manual is confusing and not quite helpful. It jumps around different features, touching functionalities without actually explaining them.Although I am quite savvy with electronics and programming, I still find the usability (buttons, display, feedback) almost user-hostile.Even the placement of '+' and '-' buttons are reversed, to confuse things even more (see attached photos).That is: great concept, very good build, great LCD display. But poor user interface, non-intuitive and difficult to program.I wrote directly to them asking for help (a video tutorial, or a hopefully better written manual. Let's see what they'll sayEdit March 25 2023: Not even an acknowledgment from manufacturer. Basically: “just figure it out yourself, mateâ€

this unit worked right out of the box. was easy to set up and start using. good simple instructions and even tell you what the error codes mean.
