I love digital thermometers and use mine inside and outside. With the outdoor grill, I left one probe outside in the rain for a few days. When I found it the probe no longer worked. Replacing the probes is better than replacing the entire unit. The replacements work great

I’ve gone through 8 of these and thought the quality was just crap, but I didn’t realize you couldn’t submerge them as I don’t think that’s explicitly stated anywhere. I put them into a soapy water bath after every cook and apparently that ruined them. I figured if they could stand the heat and grease of a smoker for 15+ hours, some soapy water would be no big deal but I was wrong. So ultimately these are fine as long as you are careful when you clean them.

These fit the Nutrichef PWIRBBQ80, aka Pro3 Bluetooth thermometer. Jack is 3.5mm, 3 rings. In a quick test using hot water the temperature readings match between an original probe and Probes by WEINAS. Probably same durability (unfortunately) because the probes appear identical to the Nutrichef, including the "Smart BBQ Thermometer" embossed on the cable rack. But these expand the probe marker colors beyond red and orange. These are yellow, green, blue, and violet, so can now use all six inputs each with a different color. Have gotten lots of use past four years from the Nutrichef, and the EasyBBQ app on my iPhone. Only issue has been probe failure. Wish the app would predict time remaining to reach temperature.

I ordered these probes for smoking meats. Temps were always below 275. Followed all instructions. Used 2 probes for about 6 smokes then 1 failed completely and the other was about 10deg F off. Grabbed the other 2 new probes and one was off 20 and one was off 50F new out of package. Controller has 6 ports and I tried each probe in each port just to make sure it wasn’t the controller. I emailed seller since 2 probes were brand new. They have not been responsive as of yet!

I purchased this item to complete the other four channels for my Weinas Chugod Smart BBQ Thermometer.I was very excited to start using it in my new Traeger Smoker. It allows me to monitor ambient as well as four other types of meats while in the same smoker, wirelessly. Thus avoiding to open the grill too often also to monitor each meat as to when their time to take them out.Was a little disappointed when discovered one of the probes had a defect. It will spin freely within its holder.E-mailed Amazon to arrange a replacement.Same day received a response from Lexi at Weinas. He took care of the problem immediately!Received the replacement right away. No Hassles, no excuses just excellent customer service!At first, read the reviews that were not very favorable. But as far as my experience, the product is accurate. As I've tested against other digital thermometers.But more important...
