REPTI ZOO T5 HO 5.0 UVB Bulb provides essential UVB, UVA and visible light for Rainforest dwelling reptiles. Designed to help your reptile pets to prevent or reverse metabolic bone disease. They could work with REPTI ZOO AT28 Reptile T5 HO Terrarium Hood.
This T5 ho bulb provides UVB Rays that is part of the sun’s natural light spectrum. Most reptiles require exposure to UVB to produce vitamin D3, which is essential in order for them to use the calcium from their diet.
This T5 ho bulb provides UVA output, which help increase appetite, activity, and induce reproductive behavior.
Work with REPTI ZOO T5 HO Terrarium Hood, it is replacement bulbs for REPTI ZOO AT28 series UVB Lighting Combo Kit(AT2824STT/AT2839STT/AT2854STT).
This T5 HO Bulb is a superior addition to the habitats of Panther Chameleon, Veiled Chameleon, Lizard, most other rainforest reptiles, turtles and tortoises.

Edit: It turns out it wasn't the bulb that was the problem. My light fixture went bad. Overall, I get at least a few months, usually more, out of each bulb! They work well for my geckos and frog. The plants do well under them too!Original review: For as much as these bulbs cost, they should last longer. I've had them last for several months, but the last one only went about a month.

I have about six of the ReptiZoo T5 lighting kits with the bulb and fixture. These bulbs blow all the time. They last about 3 months and they are done. Looking for alternatives, don’t waste money on these.

The old bulb for my turtles UVB lamp blew a couple days ago. Had this bulb in storage. First off, packaging was top tier and definitely kept the bulb safe from breakage. Very easy to install, took me 5 mins. Great value for the price and is VERY bright. I don't even need a night light. lol As seen in the pic my big boy was happy because he was frantic when his previous bulb blew. (Excuse the hard water stains, time for a tank deep cleaning.)

This is my own unbiased review and experience with this product.I ordered this for my sons Beardie (bearded dragon) light. It fit perfectly in his 22†light. We use this to make sure Draco gets the UV ray benefits that reptiles need, like vitamin D and so fourth. This light has made a huge difference in our Beardies life, he absolutely loves it and gets so active when it’s turned on. He’s excited and happy. The light seems to work well with no issues. The price is good. I recommend this light.
