This was easy to put together without any help. Even when I realized I had the carpet nails pointing the wrong way and had to reassemble..oops. Great size for a beginner and easy to use and comes with everything I needed to start my first tufted design. I ordered the full kit from this supplier and everything was great and made my first experience of tufting easy, even though I still had no idea what I was doing and had to watch many more videos to get the hang of it. This frame is a great size to be able to move around the room when not in use and not be cumbersome.

This frame is pretty decent. It was easy to assemble and the predrilled holes made it that much easier to work with. The directions had a great diagram to follow. This frame is great size and pretty sturdy. It took me a bit to release that the carpet tacks needed to be pointed outward for the fabric it came with to be stretched right and stay on so that was a bit of a curve. Overall I’m pretty pleased with this.

The direction manual is simply an image. It did not mention that the nails must be facing a certain direction in order for the cloth to properly stick to the frame. I installed the frame improperly because of this, and wasted a ton of time trying to get the cloth onto my frame without any luck, only to discover the tacs are facing the wrong direction. Wish the directions indicated there was a difference in the wooden pieces and the importance of the direction of the nails in order for this to function. I have yet to use the frame because of this, but otherwise appears to be an okay frame.

Assembled and put together with relative ease. Extra parts to help with sturdiness if needed. Great size for starters and vets alike. Good stuff.

The instructions were easy to follow & she seems sturdy. It just came today and I put it together right away, however, I haven’t tested it out yet.I, especially, appreciate that L brackets are included to help maintain stability!Be warned, the carpet tack strips are already adhered- so please be careful when putting the parts together! Also, there are some splinters of wood on it. If you can, you can just sand them a little bit to protect your hands or just wear protective gloves!I’m excited to learn how to gift. My dog already seems to be over my rug tufting journey. 😂PS- I’ll update when I get to actually use it!

First, thanks to the seller for the pre-drilled holes!! These holes made it easy for me to drill the screws. One of the issues I ran into is the instructions stated the holder can go on either side, but the smaller wood piece did not have the holes drilled on both sides to make this easy - causing me to crack the wood while screwing the screws. In addition, the instructions should have been more concise and the pieces should be numbered to match the pictures. Due to this, it took me much longer than it should have to assemble. I spent more time trying to figure out where to place each piece of wood after the obvious one was stated on the instructions. I added pics to this review to show how I placed my wood pieces. I wish the instructions had told me this as I need it to be specifically stated and illustrated - I am an not a builder of anything. Overall, this frame is a good price for its sturdiness and functionality.

This is a great frame and easy to put together. Just started rug tufting and wanted a smaller frame to practice small rugs on.
