Previous 2* was due to my error. I inadvertently swapped the screen mounting brackets resulting in a gap at the bottom - the top did not close completely. I removed the screen and reinstalled it correctly, and all is good and it is a very nice display!

Stopped working, flickering lines after 2 months. Took apart laptop, reseated everything, same issue.But atleast it was easy to replace and fit well.

There are lots of videos online to install a new LCD screen. A little bit time consuming as I was new to this but only a few hiccups. 1. Aluminum LCD screen frame in Laptop warped a bit when removing damaged LCD. Fixed that as best I could. 2. Connection to key board did not stay put in reassembly. Thus, I needed to remove new screen again. Took care not to damage screen but bent metal bracket too much to repair. Thus, LCD screen plate is not clicking together right.The LCD screen is bright and vivid. Didn’t notice my old screen being this nice. Fits perfectly and seamlessly. The price was pleasantly surprisingly affordable. Functions well with the laptop as if it was original equipment. Yes, I would highly recommend and do again if need be.

This product is awesome!. My screen suddenly shows an S shape dividing the whole screen and just broke. Zero experience with laptop screen replacement. Fits well with Inspiron 5593. Just followed some videos and this replacement screen looks like the same as the original. Packaging is also good enough to protect the replacement screen. Can extend to lifetime warranty once you ordered. Highly recommend.

Getting this LCD on was a bit of a pain but once it was on it was great. For a couple months. Then, it failed. giving 7 LED flashes, which according to Dell is display failure. I had to disassemble it again only to find that the connection on the back of the screen was somewhat loose due to the design. Once reseated it works again. However, now the plastic housing around the LCD barely stays on, so it won't last and I'll have to order a new case as well. I should have just ordered the entire thing in the first place.
