How to make two rings together
To use the collar you need to slide the chain through one of the loops to make it into an actual collar.
Then figure out what side your dog normally walks on. Now, this is important, FACE YOUR DOG. Have them sit in front of you, and if, when walking, they walk on your right, shape the collar in “q” and slide it over their head. If they walk on your left, shape it in a “p” and slide it over their head.
It should slide over their head easily, but not be super loose. It should be like how it feels when you put on a new T-shirt. Snug, but not tight. When it slides past their head it should have about two inches, maybe more, again depending on the breed, of slack.

This is the second choke collar I’ve bought and one thing I’d like to mention is the collar appears to have a nice film/oil on the metal to allow a smooth glide unlike other choke collars. I find other choke collars to be clunky on my furry friend but this one is comfortable and safe on her. I have a Olde English Bulldogge and got the 20inch collar and it fits her great with perfect wiggle room. It’s very durable as she tends to pull a lot and no issues so far. The color is a grey-ish silver, not too bright but shiny and beautiful. Easy to use as it’s all one piece!

It's classic equipment you can't go wrong with.Tips:The thinner the chain, the sharper your correction will beIf you chain is too long, it's not nearly as effective - you should just be able to slip it over your dog's headMany people think it's "cool" to leave chains on their dog all the time for aesthetic - this is dangerous! If your dog gets the chain caught on something, they can seriously hurt themselves. This is training equipment, not swag.Sharp tugs are the best form of corrections - don't let your dog pull you down the street on a chain. This could hurt their trachea as well as defeat the purpose of the training equipment.

Great second collar where I have some control. Easy to put on for a walk and the weight isn’t too heavy for her neck and she doesn’t mind it. It doesn’t have those claws and the quality is great.
