About this item

  • 【Widely Applicable Scenarios】The mini ball head has male thread on the top, with a 1/4" thread hole and removable shoe mount on the bottom. The ball head mount could be used for cameras, light stands, tripods, monopods, microphones, smartphone cages, and so on.
  • 【360-Degree Rotating Head】The camera ball head ensures 360-degree horizontal and 135-degree tilting rotation. The knob could be used to adjust the ball head to any angle.
  • 【Lightweight but Durable】The mini camera ball head weighs only 0.1 lbs (47 g), and the maximum load is 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg). The whole ball head is made of aluminum alloy materials, which are sturdy, durable, and corrosion-resistant.
  • 【Reinforced Locking Plate】The bottom locking plate adopts an angular design, which makes it easier to screw by hand. The locking plate has a built-in slot that can be disassembled and assembled with a wrench, allowing for more reinforced installation while also making disassembly more convenient and labor-saving.
  • 【Removable Cold Shoe Mount】The bottom comes with a cold shoe mount that can be mounted onto the camera's hot shoe or onto the cold shoe of the cage or handle. Besides, the ball head features a 1/4"-20 thread hole on the bottom, which enables attaching a mini tripod after removing the cold shoe adapter.
  • 【Very Important】This product has been greatly upgraded in color, design and material. If you have any questions or problems, you can contact us at any time and we will serve you wholeheartedly.

Just for reference, I've been infatuated with ballheads for like 20+ years and have bought and sold just about EVERY vintage Rowi/Prazision German ballhead known to man, and still have a handful of the smallest that are the same size as these, as well as EVERY clamp and tiny tripod Rowi ever made. I run stereo pairs of Schoeps (and MBHO before Schoeps) to record live audio at concerts in super high definition/quality, and since the MBHO and Schoeps are German made too, and German products in general are usually superior and the BEST, I have always highly valued the Rowi/Prazision/Braun ballheads and clamps and they've been ESSENTIAL in getting my microphones level over the last 25+ years since I started using them in all different types of locations. From level floors, to gaff taped stands to rails, and music festivals on very uneven ground. So onto these ballheads. I had an old Prazision ballhead come apart on me and wanted to go try something nicer than the Artcise CB19 i bought a couple of years ago, and wanted something smaller the exact same size as the old Rowi ones, which are basically identical in size to these. I like keeping my mic setup as TINY as possible and just have the mic capsules and KCY "active" cables up on the stand, so the weight doesn't concern me with the smallest size like these.Anyway, these are ROCK FREAKING SOLID all around. I don't need the hot/cold/whatever shoe mount on the bottom, and with the included wrench they came off relatively easy. And when you lock these little bad boys tight, they're NOT BUDGING 💪For reference I just bought a red Sioti Ultra Mini 18mm ballhead from Amazon while taking advantage of the prime days and it was $13 by itself, and while nice, I feel like these are more standard AND solid. I got the Sioti a few days before this and was really happy with it, but after opening these today and playing around with them, the Sioti is going on a Manfrotto 6' extension (099B maybe?), or I'm sending it back to get something else from Amazon. That's HOW pleased I am with these already and they went on my two MAIN stands and are now my favorite ballheads. I just HOPE they hold up over time. I always have a spare or two just in case one fails on me though 🤓And I don't have ANY way to measure the actual strength=weight ratio, but I can DEFINITELY see these holding more than 3.3lbs of weight. I had a 6" extension bar on the end of both and with EVERYTHING I could muster together, I couldn't budge either one, so that's really saying something. Most of my ancient 40+ year old Rowi equivalents don't have nearly THAT much gripping power.Man, I always start a review with the idea of saying" it's great just buy it" and then end up writing a novel. So, if you want something tiny AND rock solid for a silly good price, look no further than these. I have tried something from just about EVERY audio/video/lighting company on Amazon BUT SmallRig before this, and know I will definitely keep an eye out for their products over others I've never heard of or used before. So, click buy and thank me later LoL. And NO, this is NOT a paid or free review. I purchased these with my own $19 and just wanted to share my thoughts about these vs the myriad of others I've tried over the years. I've paid 2-3x more than this for a single Rowi or similar ballhead and wasn't this happy. So under $20 for TWO is amazing IMO!Peace out yinz all and love, not hate one another 🙏✌️

I'm using this mini ball head with the Zeadio Metal Mini Tripod and it works really well. I had an Ultrapod Mini (the old version that was smaller and easier to carry around) and this combination is a great substitute. The ball head has a really snug, tight fit and gives you huge flexibility in positioning your camera. It works really well with my phone and with my GoPro, a small video cam and so on. When I use it with a small offset plate to adjust the center of gravity back, it can also support my D800 with 28-300 on a flat surface (without the offset plate, it would be too unbalanced and I'm not sure if the ball grip would hold. This comes in a two pack so I'm going to look at using in some other configurations. Highly recommended!

These little ballheads are sturdier than I expected -- when tightened, they hold in place even with noticeable weight on them. I'm impressed. They are, though, a little smaller than I thought; my fingers have trouble grasping and turning the miniature tightening knob. So far, they are working great for holding small lights on and around my desk video setup.

I love that these can be attached to a regular tripod head or to a coldshoe mount. They're small enough to add almost no weight and can be carried easily, but they hold my little Cybershot camera very steady.I also appreciate the small holes in the base that allow me to torque them down a bit on the shoe/tripod - it's much easier and more secure than trying to hand-tighten them.Definitely worth the $ if you have a smaller camera, flash, mic, etc that you'd like to attach to your SLR, vlogging cage, whatever.

Sturdy and hold my items nicely. Easy to adjust to move binoculars so multiple people can use them.

I would not recommend this as ballhead for light stands or something that need screw because just works for hotshoe, if you need screw it, you must take it apart and it is not good enough. There are other options according to the purpose.

These metal ball heads are rock solid build unlike some of the plastic versions out there. Plus it's a two pack for a great price. You can use them on a cold shoe or remove the cold shoe with the included allen wrench and use a 1/4 thread screw also.

What can i say ? Its built by smallrig and as per my experience with them they make some good stuff , and this one is no differentIt does everything it says , its a functional ball head ( not that smooth , it could have had a bit more resistance ) that lets you put stuff on the cold shoe mountat the price i got it for it sure is value for money without any doubt , mount lights , a second camera ? what ever floats your boat .

These are very useful and the build quality is higher than I expected it to be. I’ve mainly been using these to mount display panels and lights, and they do the job well.
