This is a nicely made small ball head. It compares very well to a Giotto I bought years ago for a whole lot more. The clamps work very quickly - a quarter turn from wide open to full lock. It's well suited to point-and-shoots, smaller mirrorless cameras with light lenses, and mobile phones (by adding an appropriate clamping adapter.) Stick it on an inexpensive tripod, or a gorilla pod-type unit, and you'll have a great stable platform for mobile phone photography. It also has a bubble level attached so you can get the horizon level.

I particularly appreciate the separate azimuth/rotation lock, which is really useful for finessing the position of the camera, or rotating it out of the way for convenience.

I was so worried about the 3/8 inch because that was one of the main reasons I went for this product since I already had an Optex tripod without a head and the screw I needed was 3/8 inch. I've always used 1/4 inch for everything, but once the product arrived that was the first thing I went to check and BANG!, the 3/8 inch was there, and it perfectly fit my tripod. This tripod head is very sturdy and smooth when rotating. Just what I needed.

Super pour l'utiliser avec un appareil et objectif pas trop lourd, en l'occurrence je m'en sers avec un gorillapod et ça feat parfaitement. Pis c'est beaucoup moins cher que la rotule Jobii donc ça fait plaisir.Sachez que la quick release est compatible avec celle de DJI, donc si vous avez un ronin vous pourrez changer rapidement de support, et ça c'est top.
