This set is a very good quality, but I have to return it because the starter container was too big for my 2 people family. I do not need such huge container for the starter for my home baking needs. The book, was extra, I do not need either because it did not contain any recipe I could not find on line. In addition, I already had several of the items included in the package, therefore, I ordered items I really needed and returned this package.

My kit arrived today and I can’t wait to use it. I purchased my starter dehydrated and am on day 2 with bubbles and double rise. I’m sure I will put everything to the test in a few weeks. Buy this kit..you won’t be sorry. Such a good value.

The kit is very useful to someone starting out! The materials seem fairly well to for the price you pay. I will say the instructions were a touch difficult for me to interpret when making my starter, but that’s just me!

A wonderful sourdough kit! We've gotten a lot of use from the products. Love the bigger size starter jar to allow expansion when fed.

This was perfect to start my sour dough journey. The price was not bad for all the tools. I use the bread whisk, jar, bannetons, and scrapers every time.
