The Adapter Has NO Electrical Connection
The camera is not aware that there is anything attached to it. You'll have to use the manual 'M' mode to take pictures, That's to say diaphragm & focusing are required to be set by manual.

This "t-adapter" allows you to slide a 2 inch diameter sleeve into your refractor's 2 inch focuser. The top of the t-adapter is threaded to accept a "t-ring" that you must buy separately. The "t-ring" fits directly into the bayonet mount of the brand of camera you own. Now your refracting telescope becomes a telephoto lens for your 35mm camera. The SVBony t-adapter is CNC machined and has an anodized finish. You'll love the look, as well as the functionality.

Great quality and just what I needed! I could not achieve prime focus on my 8" Newtonian with a 1.25" T-adapter, but with this 2" adapter I could get the camera a whole 1/4" closer and now I can get the Moon in focus. Highly recommended

It fits, the threads are perfect, what more could I want?Ok, I'm sure if it had a Vanta black coating inside it would be even better, but my imaging train isnt good enough to make that worth worrying about.

Perfect for Astrophotography It’s what you need at a great price . Threads are silly not at all janky. Matte finish so non reflective has a nice step in it so locking screws have something to bite on and not slip off
