I occassionally need to test phone lines and this tool does a good job of it. It is small and it feels like it would break easily if dropped. But it does exactly what it says it will do. Works just as well as a $200 fluke product. Not sure of durability, but if you dont abuse it, it should last

I keep this in my tool bag in case I can't find my banjo or my harris dies and i have no spare battery. I've used it a couple of times and it works as it should. It it breaks, I will get another. Great back up buttsett.

I really did not have many uses for this, it was more of a one-time thing sorting out 4 phone lines. It works and the cost makes it worthwhile to just have it around in case I need it again. I notice the phone company has much longer cords and of course much more heavy duty.

As the last payphone serviceman in my state I can tell this little phone is really great. I don't think it's flimsy at all, it's quite well made - sound quality is really good, loud ring, not only it has a Caller ID but will also display what number the other phone dials on the same line. Super light, has a clip to attach to a pocket. Very happy.

When dial out, the caller ID transmitted is not the line you call from, which makes it confusing to identify the line. This is true with digital, or voip phones. This seems to be working ok with analog lines

Only works with 2-conductor lines, useless with 4-conductor ports. Also the "user manual" is in incomprehensible "English".
