The sensor worked perfectly during our basement leak last night. It was loud enough that I could hear it on the second floor of the house with a fan on. Easy to use - pop in the battery and set it where you might get water. It saved us from having a huge cleanup since we caught the leak very early. I am buying more to put everywhere we’ve ever gotten a leak so we can catch any basement water early.

Works just like it should. I have one sitting in the hot water heater floor pan so I will know if it leaks, before causing water damage. Pretty cheap price. Very loud alarm. definitely

This sump pump alarm is a fantastic addition to my sump pump setup. It’s designed to alert me if the water level gets too high, which is a great early warning sign that my sump pump might not be working properly. The alarm is loud and effective, giving me peace of mind that I’ll know right away if there’s an issue. The setup was simple, and it’s been working flawlessly.As you can see from my picture, I decided to mount it on the vent pipe. That allowed me to keep the sensor a little further away from the dark water pipe that dumps into the basin. I highly recommend this for anyone with a sump pump or in need of a reliable water-level alarm!

Its easy to install, it works well and provides protection. It's a good prodcut to purchase to alert you if their are any potential water leas in yor house.

This little device has saved my basement from flooding so many times. I also put them under all sinks to alarm me if there is ever a leak. It works excellent! It saves your home from water damage which then would create mold.

I've been using these since 2016 and they work great. Saved me from disaster when my upstairs washer leaked in my old house. It was loud enough to hear on the second floor when it went off. I did take me a bit to figure out what the sound was because they are something you forget you installed. :) I just recently bought new ones when I moved to a new place. They are easy to test too... just lick your finger and cover the metal poles on the bottom of the sensor. It's nice that the wired sensor can be extended from the unit too. I can definitely recommend these... but hope to never hear them go off again.

This is an invaluable item to have to monitor water leakage especially in basements near your water heater. The audible alarm is very loud when sounding and will last a long time. Already saved me a couple of times when the water heater reached the end of its life span and started leaking a small amount of water, and once when a sink became clogged and was overflowing from the washing machine discharge. The alarm notified me right away that there was a leak and saved me from having to deal with a potentially much bigger mess. Uses a 9 volt battery. Very much worth having for peace of mind.

I tested this thing with a wet fingertip before installing it, and it is sensitive and loud - I have no doubt we would hear this on the top floor if it went off in the basement. EDIT April 12, 2018 - woke up early to a strange, high pitched wailing... The hot water tank had slowly began to leak, and thanks to this alarm I caught it soon enough to shut off the water supply, hook up a length of garden hose and drain the tank into the floor drain without making a mess! No idea how much money this thing just saved me, or time in replacing drywall, trim and molding, carpet...

Couldn't give 5 stars because of, 1st, the sensor wire was not 6 feet long as advertised. It might be 5 feet.2nd, I do not yet know how long the battery will actually last since I've only had it for a couple of months.It does do as advertised if it touches water. The alarm is loud and lets you know anywhere in the house that there is a possible water problem.

I have this next to my sump in the basement and it works. Some wet clothing on a rack, placed near this alarm dripped on the floor. It alerted us to the water on the floor.
