Seems well made but angled feet which rest on the spring retainer need to be straighten to work on sbc heads. The angle forces the retainer against the valve stem making it difficult if not impossible to install the keepers.

This works for both 7/16†and 3/8†rocker studs. I tested it on a SBC and a BBF. You have to remove a clip, rod, turn the shaft around, and reassemble to switch between the two sizes. The handle just slides onto lever, so be careful you don’t pull it off while applying tension on a spring. It feels pretty sturdy so should last awhile. Overall I’m happy with it.

This is a good quality tool. It is made strong and operates smooth. The forked head is reversible incase you need the forks to point in the other direction for removing your valves. This tool operates smoothly and has a long handle for plenty of leverage if you need it. Recommended.

The main body of the tool is great. It is heavy duty and will move valve springs with no issue. Using it is straight forward and it will fit most engines. My only complaint is that the handle seems a little wimpy but since it comes apart from the main body, you can always use a pipe. Overall it's a great value for the money and will make the job of replacing valves, setting the gaps and controlling the springs easier.

Both threaded studs and press fitI have used this model for years and got another for my mobile machining bag.Easy to use and has deep pull so the keepers fall right outThis was a valve u did for a friend head installed. Did all 8 ex and 8 in valves with my kwik way valve grinder. Took longer to remove valves covers and rockers than valves. The valve reface went perfect and no more lazy and leaking exhaust valves.Easy to install valves also which is greatWell built and great value

I used this on a BBC for switching out valve springs for upgrade to a bigger cam. They worked great. Easy to use, left enough room to change the retainers, and was easy. Excellent compressor.
