With this controller, you can run 480 Volts of ac current controlled by 3 to 32 volts of dc current (output from a micro computer). Well made with a plastic cover to prevent contact with high voltage. Easy to mount, just watch the electrical codes as we are not in safe home voltages anymore! It says it can handle 40 Amps at 480 volts.

I was going to use good old mechanical relay but these are so much safer and better. Put them in series with driveway heating Mats and use low voltage “sprinkler†wiring to turn each section on. Will buy more for other projects

I used this product to divert excess solar electricity into a floor radiant heat system. It failed within several hours. The led light would go of, but the circuit remained closed and would pull energy out of the batteries through my inverter. This could’ve cost me thousands in batteries. Total garbage if you ask me.

Driving directly from a Raspberry Pi GPIO port will not turn this SSR completely on. It seems that it will turn on for half the cycle but not the other. Driving with a higher voltage fixes the problem. I just happened to have an opto-isolated 12VDC output available and that works just fine.Be aware that if you are controlling this from a microcontroller you might need to boost the output voltage up a bit first.

I like the dwsign and the feel of this unit, it feels very solid well built, I have started experimenting with it, I have temporary installed in a metal box, with a heath sync and cooling fam from my old PC, it seems to keep it cool

Whatever else anyone says on here these little things can be switched on and off from something as low voltage as an arduino/pi. LED indicator is great and switching speed is amazing. Recommend a good heat sink for high amperage. One of the few products I've been impressed enough to review.
