In the cabin of my small sailboat it’s very clear, easy to use and awesome capabilities.I use multiple different scanning features, the automated digital radio check, and Weather Alert.I chose this brand over my original first choice because of the additional digital features of Bluetooth capability.Connected to my existing antenna and an SWR reading of 1.15, reception performance has been excellent. I don’t transmit very much but I do check to make sure my signal is clear.I was impressed enough to want to use it in the cockpit regularly, instead of my handheld, bought the UMRMIC and will install it this week.Like all marine products time will tell but with the main unit down below out of the UV and the remote only outdoors when underway, I am expecting long life.When you look at the price point, it’s is an exceptional value!

I had ship shore radio when I lived on the ocean and it was in the kitchen overlooking the ocean. It was used by me until we moved to our boat. I was so excited to receive this one but need a little more information about wiring it just to make it work.Eternally grateful

The write up did not mention anything about most functions only available for use in the us, here in canada the unit was almost unusable so was sent back.

Works well. The bluetooth feature does not seem very useful, as none of my fellow boaters can receive those text messages over VHF. I would not overpay for that feature
