Works exactly as described. Easy to use, and appears very well made. Much heavier unit than I expected for the cheapest light meter on Amazon. I'll only use this a few times so can't comment on durability other than as already mentioned.

I purchased this instrument when a club I belong to was concerned their lighting wasn’t up to standard. I thought this will give us a “ball park†measurement and then we will need a better more expensive instrument. This little meter proved to be incredibly easy to use, made very repeatable measurements, and showed an accuracy way better than expected. If you are looking for a good, reliably accurate light meter to use around your facility this is a great choice.

Bought the non Bluetooth version then realized I wouldn't get an accurate reading with the door open. Sent it back annd got the Bluetooth one, connected to my phone calibrated it and, bam. Big beautiful flowers no light burn and no $500 par meter. Watch MIGRO YouTube channel for conversion calculations (search lux meter).

I use this to measure the light hitting on my plants in a small greenhouse. It works as intended and is easy to use.

I tried using some of the apps available for you phone but would get different readings in the same area (under artificial lighting) just a few seconds apart. This meter gives fairly consistent results under the same set of conditions. Got it to quickly be able to tell how much light my plants are getting as compared to what they need to grow… already prompted a few plant moves and they seem happier in their new locations. Definitely worth it for the price.
