Works great for lighter loads - I use for medium binos on a monopod.Be aware that this Z bracket does not have a rotation function - on a monopod that is not needed, but rotation is very useful if used on a tripod

This unit is very versatile. Built well and sturdy. I'm using it on a smaller camera for time lapse photography . It articulates in any angle I need to position my camera for the shot. It will come in handy for my larger cameras too. Have not tried on full frame camera but I believe it can handle the weight.

Altho a neat idea, the two hinges:1. are difficult to tighten (tiny knobs) almost need pliers to crank down on them2. they slip once you get them tight3. small "platform" area where camera attaches is probably good for a small hobby camera, but not a larger digital camera body, much less with the weight of a high-end lens.Perhaps good for a beginner or hobbyist, but i would not buy again

I have a long zoom without a tripod collar that I intend to use with a mirrorless camera on a monopod. Have a ball head, but found it fiddly and unstable, especially with the lens weight all well forward of the screw mount. This is compact, sturdy, light, and inexpensive. It enables stable, adjustable tilt, while keeping the camera + lens center of mass over the monopod. Not as versatile as a gimbal, fluid, or ball head, but far lighter and less bulky. Small is beautiful.

Used it to mount a camera to my wall for zoom calls. Worked well.

Maybe I had a bad version but one of the screws stopped tightening which made it useless because my camera would no longer stay upright. Luckily Amazon refunded me.
