If you plan on using this for a large amount of batteries, I would recommend a more heavy duty spot welder. But for the occasional repairs, this will work just fine until you can afford one that has much more options in power control.If you ask me, I would save your money until you can get a larger spot welder powered by super capacitors. Or build your own with a microwave transformer.Pros: Versatility and Value, ease of use, higher quality of materials used to manufacture this product.Cons: Short battery life, high maintenance probes, needs more than 11 power level options, outperformed by other super capacitor style spot welders, not ideal for making multiple batteries at a time.
