Product Description

usb pcie card

Product advantages:

1. Add 2 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C port on the desktop computer through the PCIe slot. The data transmission speed of each USB-C port can reach up to 10Gbps bandwidth. In addition, the pcie expansion card internal 19-pin USB 3.0 connector and USB Type-E can be extended to the front panel of your computer as you need.

2. The usb c port can draw power from the PCI Express slot, eliminating the need to plug in any additional power cables from the power supply.

3.Each interface has an independent voltage stabilizing capacitor to protect the computer from over-current and short-circuit damage, ensuring the safety and longer reliability of the usb c card.

Note: This expansion card only supports data transmission, not video signal transmission (DP, HDMI, VGA display conversion), you must pay attention before choosing.

2

SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen 2

The USB 3.1 card with a bandwidth of 10Gbps can transfer data in a few seconds, which is half the speed of the previous generation USB 3.0 specification expansion card.

3

High Performance Master Chip

It adopts ASM3142 main control intelligent chip, which does not occupy computer CPU resources and can work independently with low power consumption. The card can easily handle some large files and enhance your work efficiency in all aspects.

4

System is compatible widely

USB C card is compatible with a variety of mainstream Windows/Linux/Mac OS operating systems, and can be used after Win 8/10/Mac OS X or above without driver installation.

Installation Steps

1

Step 1

Turn off the computer, unplug it from the power source, and remove the host outside case.

2

Step 2

Find a PCI Express X4 or higher specification slot that fits the card.

3

Step 3

Insert the card down into the PCI-E slot.

4

Step 4

Tighten the screws on the side of the bracket with a screwdriver, put the host outside case back on the computer, and then insert the plug into the socket.

Tips:

1. An available PCIe x4, x8 or x16 slot is required inside the host.

2. The system requirements are Windows XP/7/8/10 operating system and Mac OS 10.8.2(above), 4GB DDR RAM or above.(MSI/Dell Win 11 systems aren't supported.)

3. Win XP/7 system needs to install the driver from the attached CD.

4. If you need to expand the front panel port, you need to insert the USB Type-E cable and 19-Pin connector data cable into the end port of this card. (Not included in this product)

5.The 19 Pin connector inside the USB C card can only connect to two USB 3.0 A ports, and the Type-E can only connect to 1 USB C port. In addition, the tail ports don't support Thunderbolt protocol data cables.

Notes:

1. Not compatible with the old PCI Express X1 slot.

2. The usb c pcie card only supports data transmission, not video signal transmission (DP, HDMI).

3. Install the driver before inserting the card.

4. Do not install this PCIe card when the computer is turned on.

5. If the card does not work, first check whether there is a problem with the PCI Express slot on the motherboard.

6. In order to obtain USB 3.1 Super Speed+ performance, please use PCI Express 3.0 or higher version slot for card installation.

Card looked nice and was easy to install. If you follow the instructions, it does say that you have to update the drivers. I went to their website and updated the drivers and was off and running. However, this is not my first time as I have built several of my own computers. The price point was right, and I also now have the ability to hook up three Internal USB devices as well. I did not need the front panel extension, but I did have an old Western Digital HDD Passport that I decided to put internal this card gave me that ability as I was able to find a cable to attach to the 19 pin for the front panel that had 2 USB ends on It. I also found a adapter for the other Type E port That allowed me to expand one more USB internal. I know this is not probably the intended use, but I find it valuable as these days they are coming out with very fast and large thumb drives. You could install these internal and keep your external USB's open for other devices plus you could really expand your computer's memory this way. I like it for me it was the right purchase as I also had no external C Ports. Nice product way to go Yeeliya. It works for me, and I believe others will like this product also 5/5 from me.

When I built this iteration of my PC, I didn't realize that although my MOBO has USB-C built into the rear IO, it does not have a header for front USB-C, which my case has. For quite a while I just lived with having a non-functional front USB-C, but eventually I decided I hate things that don't work like they should, so I picked up this PCIe expansion card. It allowed me to plug my case's front USB-C cable into it without difficulty, and now all ports on my front IO work like they should. Next time I upgrade, I'll pay more attention to native front IO compatibility, but in the meantime, I can't complain about this card. It allows my front IO to fully function and gives me an extra pair of rear USB-C ports as well. For the price, no complaints!

UPDATE: In my earlier review I had found a workaround and specified that you cannot boot the computer with this card installed without first installing a driver; I further specified that if you ever remove the card afterward, you'll have to again first install the driver before inserting the card.Well, apparently unplugging the PC as well as Windows system updates ALSO count as removing the card. And if you don't physically remove the card before running the Windows update, your computer will freeze during the reboot.Short story: Don't buy this card. It's simply not worth the hassle.(Original review below):Took a LOT of fiddling to figure this one out, but I've finally got 3 working USB ports! Haven't tested the speeds yet, though.Basically, you need to install the Sunix USB 3.1 Cypress Card Driver from Dell.com's support page BEFORE shutting down your PC to plug in the card. Be sure to fully install the card before turning the system back on, because if you ever remove it, you'll have to first re-install the driver again before it will work.Without first installing that driver, my computer wouldn't get past POST. Feel free to try for yourself, though! My build:Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHzWindows 10 Home, 64bit (19044.1766)Gigabyte GA-Z97N-WIFI Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard

Simple install, instant USB C connection for my desktop computer. Windows 10 recognized the card with no additional software installs necessary. I can now run an external hard drive dock without issue, allowing high speed access for remote file access and media viewing. I'm pleased with my purchase!

I had a motherboard that had one USB-c in the back but none for the front panel support. I need to add some onto a older Asus TUF board. I bought this to add 2 additional usb-c ports to the system. I didn't do any speed testing but just know it works very well. The YEELIYA PCIe card is worth buy to add a little bit of speed to your dedicated connectors.

PCケースと増設パネルの19PIN USBピンヘッダーとType E ピンヘッダーを使うのに、マザーボードのコネクターだけでは足りないので購入。ドライバーなども特に手を掛けることもなく設定され、その後も問題なく使えている。
