I own a very old Dell monitor, circa about 2006, that I haven't used in years. I wanted to pair it with my MacBook. The monitor had a couple USB ports on the back of it, but they didn't make the magic happen. Enter this $8 cord. Voila! I'm very happy!

I like that I could get a fairly short cable since there are too many cables as it is. What is important to know as well is to connect the cable into the correct port, in this case, the lightning ports at the back of the Mac.

My product arrived on time which was a good start. I was fully aware that this is not plug and play and required installation of the driver. I appreciated that there was a link to go to along with the cord so I could download and install the driver. I installed the driver with no problem and my second monitor worked perfectly. I was a little worried because I have an old HP desktop PC with only one VGA. So I’m glad to know I was able to connect a second monitor thru its VGA port to USB on my desktop PC. Totally made my day. Thank you for the awesome product and for the timely delivery. You have earned a happy customer.

Bought this for an old monitor that I wanted to connect to a new laptop. I have a new monitor plugged into the HDMI and the old monitor via this cord in the USB 3.0 port. There is a limitation, you cannot extend over the 3 screens. It allows you to duplicate the laptop screen and then extend to the second monitor. Still a great way to keep a perfectly good monitor out of the trash. Driver was super easy to load. I'm very happy.
