I have purchased several docking stations for my HP laptop in order to get multiple monitors. I finally gave up until I saw this. Ordered it and I thought it was plug and play.....not quite. Didn't work so I read the directions. Did exactly what it said, rebooted, and it worked perfect and so much cheaper than a docking station.

The product did work for extending my displays, however, when it’s plugged in, it forces my primary monitor to be in 1680 x 1050 resolution. When it’s not plugged in, the resolution is 1920 x 1080. If I try to manually change it, it looks terrible. Also, it requires installing software to work which will run as a background process even when it’s not plugged in, which is very concerning. I will be returning the item and hopefully finding a better option to extend my displays.

This product is great. Connectivity was easy to setup and install. Driver is built in. Now we have three screens, when the laptop video card only supported two. Windows 10. Instructions were also easy to follow. Small size and great value for money.

This didn't work for my Lenovo Chromebook. I didn't read the description closely enough to see that it was for Mac & Windows.It is well constructed however.
