This is mostly used to review sim cards from a trail cam being used as a "security" camera at an off site location. Pull the card, use this handy reader with the phone to verify it has been recording, swap in a new card, and bring the card back to review on the laptop. It is perfect for this job. A previous reader only worked with the phone if it was close to fully charged. This one is much more reliable with the iphone and is great with the laptop. No problem recognizing the reader is installed and reviewing the pics is fast and easy. I will definitely buy this product again should i need a replacement (my previous one is hiding from me somewhere in my office but I like this one so much better I'm not bothing to look for the old one any more)

This is one of those items that you don't typically think you have to have until you get it and then you just can't live without! I have done so many things with this little gem, saved pictures, transferred pictures, watched video clips, transferred video, took it out and plugged into my husband's phone so he could see a video, I was able to remove pics from my phone (because as we all know, our phones get bogged down with them) and save them to a SD card, take them to Walgreens and print them out --- you won't be sorry you tried this, there are more things you can do but I haven't even gotten to that yet! A great product for the price and so worth it!

This is a simple device that does what it is supposed to do. Versatile in that it works just as well with my phone as it does with my PC.If you need this function, you are unlikely to find it at a better price.

With todays phones being primarily a UniBody design, We don’t have much of an option to expand memory or change out the battery for the matter. But one of the options we do have is the ability to transfer our most beloved photos or other important digital content. However transferring digital content can be cumbersome at times. Having a SD dongle such as this takes much of the stress out of it! With its ease of use, small size offering versatile portability, I have to give it the recognition it deserves! The simplicity of plugging in this dongle to your iPhone or iPad, inserting a MicroSD card or SD card of your choice into the dongle, You’ll quickly be able to transfer any of the digital content you need especially with the performance this dongle offers. You may only use this one time or five times a year but I can assure you, the time that you do need to use this, you’ll be so thankful you have it!I use it often as I fly drones and sometimes it’s easiest to transfer content through the dongle and MicroSD card rather than trying to download or transfer content wirelessly. We all know how that can go at times. I also keep one in my glove box at all times for one simple scenario. I have a dash-cam in my vehicle which sometimes likes to be a hassle connecting to my phone to transfer video footage. Again, having this dongle makes those situations less stressful adding peace of mind! Grab one to use today or grab one to have handy when you need it! But most importantly, don’t find yourself needing one when it’s to late!!
