I have owned a Turncrafter Pro from Penn State Industries for years. For a long time, it sat on a bench, then I used lathe stand I got for free but did not fit my lathe. I basically had to clamp the lathe to the old stand. Plus, I had the extension bead.In general, I have not been a fan of WEN products, but a stand I thought. How can they screw this up. As it turned out they did not screw it up. It went together easily, and the mounting holes lined up with the mounting holes in the base of my lathe. Of course, I had to buy an extension for the base to accommodate the lathes extension. It all went together easily and now my midi lathe has a permanent home.BTW.....the instructions are not great. But if you take you time, it will go together quickly and easily.P.S. I am that guy who writes instructions for a living, so when I say the instructions are not great, I am being kind. But to be fair, the process is not complicated and if work with your hands and have common sense, it is not a hard build.

It was easy to setup, and way more stable than I expected! Hardware is good and it holds more than it is rated for without issues (so I hear). Seriously I put a small metalworking lathe on it and steel chip pan, zero complaints, works perfectly!

This holds up and works well, but tough to move around. Would be better if it had locking casters on it so it's easier to move.

I was a little worried about the fit of this, but I used it for a Delta 46-700 wood lathe and it is absolutely great! Additionally, I figured out that I could flip the bottom brackets over and install locking casters on it from and put some plastic plugs in the factory welded nuts for looks. Need snap ring pliers to take off the WEN factory feet, to get the bolts out -- not a big deal. Great product.

This stand is rock solid. I can’t budge it in any direction and I tried. A lathe catch can easily shift your stand and vibrations from an untrued piece can start it walking. This stand is not going anywhere. It’s made of heavy gauge steel, hefty enough to stay put and well designed to accommodate any mini to midi lathe. The instructions are clear and concise with good illustrations. I especially like that the bolts, washers, nuts and rubber feet are pre assembled and all the same so there is no confusion or wasted time figuring out what goes where. Very easy to put together. Very happy which has been my overall experience with everything I’ve bought from Wen.

Stand is very substantial, nice heavy metal. Good fit and finish. Cross beams for adjusting width could be tighter, it sags due to lose fit. There are 2 bolts to hold beam together at desired width. Nuts are welded onto the outer beam and bolts screw in and pinch the inner beam to hold it at desired width. When I assembled my unit one of the the welded nuts pulled away from the beam, the weld failed. I called Wen customer service and they were very helpful and accommodating and sent a replacement part with no hassle. I am very happy with the heavy materials used in construction and the customer service. I would definitely purchase from Wen again.

The Wen lathe stand was very easy to assemble, it even had the foot pads already installed. I have a Nova Comet ll that fit perfectly. The stand was made to fit any number of brand name lathes. I found the stand to be very stable when turning a 12" mahogany half log. Perhaps the best thing about this stand is the price; it is about half the price of name brand lathe stands. I see no appreciable difference between the Wen and the others. I highly recommend it for your midi lathe.

Great Lathe stand. I have a 48" inch lathe but bolted a 2" x 12" five foot board across the top of the stand and then the Lathe. Works well.

For a mini wood lathe.
