Automatic constant the water temperature. How it works?
- Press the 'SET' button to adjust the temperature. Press once, the temperature will increase 1°F, Press the button several times until the target value is reached. Temperature can be accurately adjusted from 64 to 93°F
- No operation for 3 seconds, the setting is confirmed to be activated
- The heater starts heating. Red indicator lights on
- Stop heating automatically when the setting temperature reached. Green indicator lights on.
- Automatic constant temperature with 1℉ accuracy. The heater works in variable frequency mode based on PID control strategy
Out of water protection / Overheating protection. Never cook your fish
- E1: out of water protection. The power will be cut off and stop heating automatically if the heater leaves the water or the heater do not fully immerse in the water. Display 'E1' error code. The heater will re-work if it goes back to water.
- H1: Overheating protection. The power will be cut off and stop heating automatically if the water temperature exceeds 95°F, Display 'H1' error code. The heater will re-work if the water temperature below 93°F.
- Other codes: contact to replace a new kit.

CAUTIONS
- The device must be used under rated voltage 100-130V.
- The heater must be fully submersed into the water. The external temperature controller must be kept away from the water as it is not waterproof.
- When there is moss or other dirty on the heater surface and the LED screen, it needs to be cleaned up with soft brush in time.
- Disconnect power socket and wait for 15 minutes before changing water or remove heater.
- Place the heater in the way of water flow and don't bury it.
- Check before installation. Check the glass tube first before installation, if the glass tube is cracked (not completely broken), do not use it.
- The suction cups must be cleaned every month to prevent the heater from falling off and breaking because the suction force is weakened by stains.

It's great for my 20 gallon, the only issue being that I have to have it set about 2-3 degrees higher than the temperature I want it at (I want my water to be 75 degrees and so I have the heater set at 78) but other than that it's consistent and the water level dose not fluctuate at all.

It’s perfectly sized and the temp does stay within range easily. Only complaint is the display is often immaculate of actual water temp (mine varies by .8 degrees) but it doesn’t matter that severely overall quality purchase for the price

This is a great little heater because it doesn’t take up a lot of space, and I love the external temperature control. Very simple to adjust the temperature as opposed to having to put your hands in the aquarium or read a tiny indicator on the heater knob. However, I can’t give it five stars for one flaw. The manufacture found it necessary to label the heater in large letters with Mini Heater. Really? I guess I would’ve known it was a heater if it wasn’t labeled. I set this tank up as a breeder tank, so I really don’t care for anyone who’s setting up a nice decorative aquarium, having a piece of equipment labeled in large letters is unsightly It’s just unnecessary. Previously is was labeled with the manufacturer name, which is a little better.

UPDATE: Customer service reached out and was very kind and helpful! Still be careful not to brake it!It is a great size. Unfortunately I only got to use it for one day. The 24 hours it was in use were good. Temp. was stable and accurate.The suction cup kept un-suctioning causing the heater to fall into the sand. so this morning cleaned that area of the tank very well and tried to make sure the suction got a really good grip. Since the heater was plugged in I merely detached it from the suction gripper thing and left it in the water whilst I worked with the suction cup. I thought a good suction was achieved, slid it into place and went to put the heater part in its place. This is where my soul was crushed. Popped the little heater back in, and it taped the back of my aquarium glass causing the glass on the heater to break.I immediately unplugged and went to remove the heater. The tip came all apart. This released the black glittery sand that is all inside. UHHGGGHHH this is such a pain to clean up. It doesn't seem to be bothering the fish (hopefully it really is just sand) but it is everywhere! Cleaned it up the best I could, but its impossible to get it all. I feel as if i was glitter bombed. Now I'm out a heater, out the like $18 (don't feel right asking for a refund since it was my fault ) and spent a morning doing extra water changes. grr.However if you are VERY careful i think you can still enjoy this heater.

*edited to add I changed my star rating to a 4 from a 1 as the seller reached out to me and offered a full refund of the heater.*This was bought as a replacement for the one I purchased in November (and accidentally broke). It stopped working just past the 30 return notice.

This heater worked perfectly fine keeping my tank at a lovely 80 degrees, until basically the one year mark (literally it stopped working within days of having it for a year). Unfortunately it happened to be the coldest time of year when the room temp gets down to 65 degrees. Thankfully I had some back up heaters and I didn't lose any fish.

So far this little heater is excellent for nano tanks. I like that it’s adjustable, easy to figure out, and keeps the tank at a stable temp, I’ve not seen it fluctuate hardly at all in the three months I’ve had it set up. I will say that the power cord is very short, so you’ll hav to have a plan for that, otherwise it is very cute, in a traditional glass tube heater kind of way. it’s not as fancy looking as the ones with guards but i am happy with it for doing it’s job for such a small tank. Would buy again
