I would only use this for animals that need only a little bit of UV, like frogs, nocturnal geckos, salamanders, etc, in a small enclosure no bigger than 10 gallons. But it seems to keep my Leopard Gecko happy.

Bought this for my kids turtle tank. Produces light that the turtles love to lay under and absorb. Will buy again when it dies eventually.
