Great product for any smaller reptile owner, I got this one for my brother's leopard gecko and it works wonderfuly for the size. Pricy but worth the money spend considering the bulbs last a lot longer then the ones from the pet store.

I use this for my baby ball python’s 50 gallon plastic tub terrarium. Works as intended. The hardest part was getting the bulb into the housing unit. I thought I had turned the bulb enough and thought it didn’t work at first.My advice is don’t be afraid to put some effort into turning the bulb once it’s in the socket. You might feel a slight click at first but then REALLY turn it and it should lock into place. It works. I also don’t like how easily the power cord can fall out of the housing unit if you move it but otherwise it’s fine. I got it on a 12/12 timer. No issues so far but from what I hear, you should get a tool to measure the uv strength and replace the bulb every 6-12 months to ensure it’s emitting the proper amount of uv.

I purchased Oct 20, 2024 and it worked okay until end of November when the power cord wouldn’t stay in the fixture. Being that it was past my 30 days, I duck taped it together. Then today Feb 11, 2025 it quit working. I thought maybe the bulb went out but it was the fixture. So I reached out to the seller, Basic Reptiles, thru the warranty and will be getting the fixture replaced. Very quick and friendly customer service.

This was a gift for my 10 year old in September. Due to the price, it ended up being half his gift - but we thought in the long run it'd be worth it, as I heard great things about Arcadia.Loved it until today; just shy of 3 months use and it's not working. I have no idea if it's the bulb or the entire unit yet, but extremely disappointed either way. It sits on top of terrarium untouched and out of reach, on a timer.... there's no reason it should've stopped working other than a faulty timer. This was my first and might be my last Arcadia purchase :-(

unfortunately you cant find any arcadia uvb lights anywhere so didnt have much option. this is exactly what i wanted and needed for my reptile, but the cost was about $20 high or so. hopefully when i need more the supply will be back so prices will drop.

Funktioniert allerdings ist der Stecker nicht super fest an dem Lampenrahmen. Bin schon zwei mal versehentlich leicht gegen das Kabel gekommen und musste es neu einstecken, was etwas aufwendig war da es in einem Lampenkäfig ist

I installed this kit into all my tanks; it's quick to install and the bulb only needs replaced yearly.Ever since I installed the light in my geckos' tanks, Their scales are now brighter and silkier. I cannot recommend this enough!

Ich habe die UVB Röhre in meinem 100x50x50 Terrarium für Rübenschwanz-Viperngecko Babys. Die Röhre ist nun seit mitte Dezember 2023 (mit Einzug der Geckos) im Einsatz und leuchtet täglich 4 Stunden. Meine Geckos legen sich total gerne in die Nähe der Lampe und schlafen, sie sind gesund, aufmerksam, neugierig und sehr aktiv. Sie wachsen langsam und gesund, wie ich es auch möchte. Für mich ist die Röhre unglaublich wichtig geworden und darf in meinem Terrarium auf keinen Fall fehlen oder ausfallen. Ich empfehle sie wirklich gerne weiter.Wichtige Anmerkung: meine Erfahrung basiert auf einer Kombination zwischen der UVB Lampe, gesunden und abwechslungsreichen Futtertieren sowie Zugabe von Calcium und Vitaminen in einem angemessenen Verhältnis.
