I use this for my under desk treadmill. I had issues with static while walking and touching the laptop. I attached a wire to one of the screws under the treadmill as an extension and connected this antistatic to the wire. Now I can type and walk and not cause static. The strap is also very comfortable to wear all day. Recommended!

I was so tired of getting small, static shocks when adjusting something on my treadmill while running. My treadmill sits on a tiled floor. I tried spraying Static Guard on my clothes, my running shoes, etc. - it didn’t work. Then, I bought four rubber pads to put under my treadmill - they didn’t work. Finally, I stumbled upon this anti-static wrist guard. Eureka! It works perfectly! You do have to ground it to something metal on your treadmill. (One end has an alligator clip on it.). I took a small piece of aluminum foil and wrapped it fully around one of the metal grip bars on my treadmill. I attached the alligator clip to that and slipped on the wrist cuff.It works great. ZERO shocks! This is a terrific solution for me.

Good quality. Very pleased. I was expecting much less and got much more :) I'm not huge (no jokes) but I did need to set the band-size to the max.. that's fine. It's like it was made just for me. I would purchase again without a 2nd thought. Thank you.

When I first got this, it was uncomfortable to wear for even a few minutes. It was too tight on my wrist. I'm a big guy, but I don't have extremely large wrists. I just discovered that the wrist strap is slightly adjustable. There's a stainless steel clasp on the underside that clamps the wrist band. If you release this clamp by lifting up on it, you can slide the links back and forth. I was able to add three or four links to the length of the strap, so it's still quite snug on me (I'd really like a couple of more links available) but it's not cutting off the circulation to my hand any more. The build quality is very nice on this strap. Even with the snug fit I use it. I'd give this five stars instead of four if the strap was just a little bit longer. If you have small to medium wrists, it should fit nicely. If you're a husky mammal, it won't be comfortable to wear.Note: if you need to adjust it like I did, notice that there's a slight protruding lip on the fixed part of the clamp that needs to mesh with the gap between the links. This keeps the strap in place in the clamp. Look closely at it and you'll see what I mean.

Seems every static strap system available had its pros and cons. While some people thought the wrist strap was too tight on this one, I thought it was just right. Comfortable fit, non intrusive. Seems to work. The only thing I would do to make this a better product would be to increase the diameter of the ground pin that you plug into an AC receptacle. It is a little too small and easily comes out. It is a spring like cylinder but it is just a bit to small to keep a reliable fit. I found a bolt which I put in the gnd hole of the socket and then use the supplied aligator clip to attach to the bolt. Works fine.

Love the product but hate that they said it’s 12 feet. They need to change the description to 2 feet

I had to duct tape the alligator clip to the treadmill but it works great and I am thankful! I was so very tired of getting shocked every time I tried to touch the buttons to change mph or vertical movement.
