I wasn’t convinced that i needed this, but after planting peas on a cold February day, I was happy to have it. Made very short work of the cardboard overlay and the thawing ground.Sturdy, quality materials. Comfortable handle.

I got this as my finger got tired from poking holes in my raised bed to plant my vegetable seeds. So I got this and I’m glad I did it makes planting so much easier. I do wish it had measurements for depth but that’s not a big deal. All in all it well made and should last a long time.

I am not hilling up anything.... not asparagus, not leeks, not melons. These are the gift from the leek gods and wow, wow, wow, what a difference it has made in my no-till garden. I start my leeks in soil blocks and when they're a good eight inches tall, I use the dibber to make the hole, at the right depth, at the right diameter. Drop that leek seedling in and the rest is magic. I bought this dibber because it's made in the USA and I like supporting businesses where I live. It's well made, ergonomically friendly, and affordable. You don't have to use it just for leeks, of course, but if you're big on not tilling your garden/raised beds and disrupting the ecosystem that lies beneath, use a dibber and see what happens.

Looked at all the options and chose this for price and perceived quality. Once received was very happy as this is sturdily built and see no issues in using it for many years.
