I eat eggs every day, and use this every day. Some people have that magical thing where they can crack an egg with no problem whatsoever. I'm not that person. I always end up getting a little bit of shell in my mix. With this little tool, that problem has mostly gone away. It does happen on rare occasions, but it's so infrequent, it's almost negligible, and when it does, the piece is very easy to get out.What I love most about this is how quick it works. I can confidently open an egg in a second and move onto the next without a thought, because it separates the shell into two nicely shaped objects that are very easy to handle. The other thing I like is how this tool is nearly indestructible. One is probably all you'll ever need for life, unless you want someone to help you in the kitchen.One of my favorite kitchen buys.

I used this egg cracker to take the top off my soft boiled eggs. I make my eggs by poking through the shell with a tack before boiling so I'm not sure if this is why I was easily able to peel my egg, but this certainly helped.It's easy, functional and cleaner than taking a knife to a soft boiled egg. For the price it's a good value and an easy to store little tool.

The best of the bunch. I have ordered three other eggshell crackers and this is the only one that works on all eggs with no issues. The others only work on small eggs or deposit small pieces of shell. This item cuts a circle in the top of the egg, with no shell pieces or broken eggs.

Cleaning this is easy and it is a simple to use tool. However, in order to make a clean cut, one needs to practise a bit. It does perform well once you get used to it. I'd say it is good value for money and the build quality is decent. Metal feels sturdy and the overall look is good.

This little gadget works well for me. I usually have to “pop it†twice to get a good break. The first time to start the break and a second to complete it.I should say that 90 % of the breaks dont break the yoke.

This egg cracker is a very easy to use topper. The best way to use it is to hold the egg in your hand with the topper and just raise the hammer a few times but not really hard. Be gentle and the egg shell will crack easily. You don't need to strike it like your trying to open with one shot. One or two gentle shots will do it for you and not leave you with a lot of broken pieces of shell. I rate this topper a definite 5 stars.
