ELEGRP LIGHTING CONTROLS--Motion Sensor Light Switches
INNOVATIVE PIR TECHNOLOGY
The ELEGRP motion sensor switch uses passive infrared (PIR) detection technology via a segmented Fresnel lens to monitor a room for occupancy. This specialized lens divides the field of view into sensor zones. When a person passes into or out of a sensor zone, the sensor detects motion and switches the lights on. If the sensor detects human motion before the TIME delay elapses, the sensor will re-clock for another TIME setting cycle before it automatically turns off the loads. If the sensor switch is kept being triggered by human motions, it’ll keep the light on until time delay elapses and no human motion is being detected during this period, or manually switched off.

Set It Into An Occupancy Sensor Switch - OCC Mode: Automatic ON & Automatic OFF

Important FAQ:
1. Q: My house does not have the ground wire, can I use the neutral wire instead?
A: No! This motion sensor switch requires an effective ground wire. Check your house before ordering. The neutral wire is not required to connect.

2. Q: I connected all the wires, including the ground wire, but it did not work. Is the switch faulty?
Q: I connected all the wires, but the light stays on all the time, I could not turn off the light even manually. Is the switch faulty?
A: There may be 2 reasons:
1): The Hot and Load wires are reversed. Please simply reverse the black and red wiring of the sensor switch, and try again.
2): The ground wire is not connected well or the ground wire is ineffective. Please consult a professional electrician.

3. Q: How do I know if it is wired correctly or not?
A: Please check if the LED indicator inside the motion sensor switch flashed or not when you approached it?
1) If yes, it means that this motion sensor switch was wired correctly.
2) If not, it means that this motion sensor switch was false wired or un-grounded. Please rewire the sensor switch. If the LED inside the motion sensor still doesn't flash, the most probable cause is that the ground wire is ineffective, please consult a professional electrician.

The motion sensor is fast enough and the timer to turn it off is a big plus. The installation is simple, just keep in mind it requires neutral. The key is not the most sensitive, you have to push it stronger than a common switch but not a big deal. Recommend it.

This is a great product and fairly easy to install. We love the one we installed in our laundry room. You can easily adjust the sensitivity (how close you have to be to set it off) and the time-out. We set ours for 5 minutes , but you could just as easily set it to time out after 30 seconds and be fine, because it will stay on as long as there is motion in the room. The installation tutorial video is super helpful. However, you MUST have a ground wire for the switch to function. I know it seems like a given, but check your switches first! We just assumed that would be universal throughout our house and ordered a pack of 6 without even thinking to check first. We were so pleased with the one we installed in the laundry room, but when we tried to install in a couple of other high traffic areas in the home, we discovered that whoever wired the house before we bought it cut back all the ground wires. They were too short for even a professional electrician to pull them out to connect to the switch. The electrician said he doesn’t know why some people do that, but they do, and these switches HAVE to have a ground wire or they won’t function as a motion sensor. So now we are stuck with the 5 remaining switches that we can’t use. :( Definitely not the fault of the product or the company, just something to consider before ordering!

I put these on my stairway to the basement, in my kitchen, pantry and bathrooms. All the lights that the kids tend to leave on! They work great. You can adjust how long you want the light to stay on after it detects movement. You can also block off a specific time where you don't want it to come on unless you manually turn it on

This motion sensing swith is easy to install and looks good. It doesn't require neutral wire which can save space. Only drawback is the response time is a bit long, taking 1-2 seconds to turn on the light. Another switch I have takes less than 1 second as comparison.

I bought this switch to make it easier to turn on the light going into my dark garage.After wiring it up it didn't work. The instructions said that if that happened to simply exchange the load and lead wires. That sounded strange to me, so I got out my multimeter and checked for the Hot lead, and sure enough, it was reversed. So I changed the wires and now it works great.I recommend that you just test the wires before you install so you are sure which is the load and which is the lead or hot wires.

Got two of these, both don't work well. The problem is that quite a lot of times I push the button and nothing happens. So that's pretty irritating, things should become easier when they're smart, not more difficult.

These are like any other motion sensor device: if you stand still for a bit the lights go out. The sensors have the typical options, light and motion sensitivity, and duration. also they can be switched to a vacancy sensor (the light is manually turned on and automatically shuts off). I outfitted most of the rooms in my basement, so needed a bunch of these. Install is pretty easy. The largest negative is the amount of packaging but that seems to be typical today. There are very small screws that can get away from you.

I love this switch. I put it in my man cave bathroom and it works very easily. Just walk into the bathroom and the light comes on. Walk out and it goes out by itself after a short time, less than a minute. Of course it does have an option of touching it to turn it on and off but what’s the purpose of that if you’re buying this in the first place. Looks good and the benefit it it’s touchless.

El interruptor es muy bonito estéticamente a diferencia de otros, es lo que más vale la pena el diseño, las opciones que traer son fácil de configurar.Pero tiene dos detalles, para instalarlo si necesitas la tierra fÃsica que viene siendo el cable verde para que funcione, si no lo conectas no realiza el corte de energÃa, y la otra es el sensor yo lo tengo en un baño pequeño y luego no detecta bien el movimiento incluso estando a dos metros de el y esto hace que se apague

No tiene una linea de vista hacia abajo por lo que no detecta niños pequeños. Por lo demás funciona a la perfección.
